Well, it's not necessarily funny but I find it largely amusing
Gimme a minute to type it up
Okay
So I was talking to my friend about the cute guy, bc a) he's cute b) only the first day and he's a threat to my status as Mr. G's fave student and that hurts my small ego
He's also v smart
But anyways
I told my friend about it
Then later we went back to my house for dinner, and I was ranting to anyone who would listen about this dude 'he can't take my position' 'there will be war' bc I gotta rant my ego is v tiny it can't take too many hits
And then my dad who wasn't paying attention very much just 'is he cute?'
I'm like EEWWWW HELL NAH
and my friend said 'that's not what you told me earlier'
So now both my dad and friend were jabbing at me, teasing
So I just take it and insist she's lying but then when we're all done with dinner we start working on homework and I give her this unsettling look (I'm v good at it)
And she knows I will get her back
So all the while I was teasing her, creating suspense for the moment I get her back.
And then we walk back to her house and her biological dad was there and it's perfect, bc he's super protective when it comes to his daughter and boys.
So we were talking about my crush, and I said
'Yeah he's nice, you know who else is nice? YOUR BOYFRIEND' and her dad, who's in the other room just looked up and glared and my friend and then there was a bit more about it and I said more embarrassing things, and I got her back and I think it's all hilarious
That took longer than it should have
