I like the plot so far and I pronounced the nickname as Cohl-ley-der. What if you have a continuous subplot? Like one of the crew members is either trying to constantly get rid of Aeron but keeps failing or tries to help but is never able to. I think having a slightly funny subplot will help even out the intensity of the plot I think

Maybe a romance? Platonic or romantic
