Well oh fucking shit, now everyone thinks I'm sexist because I dislike most of the more popular male bands and prefer other bands, most of them lead by feminist/christian women. How is that a problem? I just like a lot of female bands, and I'm not really big on the more popular bands that are all-male. I also prefer really outdated music lmao like ABBA or literally any classical song.

I don't think that makes you sexist? Like, I get not liking the popular bands, and that's not a problem (literally 95% of the music I listen to is broadway/off-bw/Disney soundtracks….). I think the issue (well, first of all, it's a non-issue, nbd) is that the phrasing makes it sound as if you think female bands are automatically superior to male bands, which isn't the case (and I can tell that you know that that isn't the case). Like… you said you don't like popular bands who are all-male, but do you like popular bands that are all female? I think, if you're looking to solve this, you maybe just apologize for your phrasing? And say like… "I'm not trying to say any of you are wrong for liking boy bands, they're just not my thing" and leave it at that. If anyone continues to have issues, it's their problem, not yours, and you don't even need to respond.

I was beneath the stage in my school's performing arts center
and we were actually removing the stage extensions
and I essentially said that same thing (but I've never watched Dan/Phil/either/whatever it is now)
and my band director just looked at me like… Katherine. Honey. Then someone (it may have been him) said "your soul is sunshine and rainbows. be quiet"

Aww, that's funny/sweet. :) My family likes to joke about how dark my soul is because I wear a lot of black.

I wear a fair amount of black lol
I'm actually trying to move away from some of my graphic tees and into more minimalistic patterns
my wardrobe in terms of tshirts is like….. 3 black… 1 dark blue floral…. 2 college tshirts
then a Cap Am shirt and a Supergirl shirt I think I'm gonna donate
I'm gonna make a capsule wardrobe, slowly but surely and it'll be awesome

and then I have like 5 long sleeve shirts/sweaters in storage rn- I'll take them to college bc the state I'm going to has actual FALL and WINTER and I'm so excited
but when I grow out of them or when they wear out they too will be replaced with minimalist colors/styles
