yeah I hear some are good and some are awful
considering I'll be living in a v Mormon state in about 6 weeks I'll prob have to wait bc there's good chances that the therapist will be homophobic
(I have to add this disclaimer: the church itself is not homophobic. Some members are though. I believe I explained that in a way earlier page)

Not necessarily homophobic, but it says in our strength of youth pamphlets that 'homosexual and lesbian behavior is a serious sin'

we're taught that same-sex attraction isn't a sin, but acting on it is. And you know, that can be rough and confusing lol.
The church is against same sex marriage, but is for other rights, and has donated money and time to support LGBT housing, equal treatment in jobs, stuff like that
I'm also going to a mormon college and uhhh they haven't even recognized the LGBTQ+ group there so that will be fun
