I'm completely alone. No one to bother me and no one I have to worry about. Guilt is something I dont recognize and I am able to sink into my couch wrapped up in a warm blanket I had just heated up in the dryer. Christmas tree lights and the TV, which quietly plays Christmas music, are the only lights illuminating the room. My two dogs lay on their beds, peacefully sleeping. The wood-burning fire place emits a wonderful smell of a bonfire, while also heating up the room to a nice temperature. I occasionally sip the hot cocoa in my hands, while I read my favorite books.
Its that or arson.
