What?

book

Hmm?

book

Yes…?

I say no. A lot of evil can be done for a good cause.

I don't think so. Several channels (mainly small ones) have been unfairly targeted, one that I love ended up having to age-restrict all of their videos with swearing or sexual jokes, even ones I had been able to watch before, and small content creators are already being forced off the platform.

book

Good example for your point Jyn!

Why does everyone hate Billie Eilish? Like do you guys have actual reasons or are you just mad cause her music is played too much?

book

Well I (low-key) hate her. Because her popular music lacks talent and is praised as art.

i don't hate her but i think she's overrated
her music's good but i just don't think it's that good

Lacks talent? First of all, she has a really good voice. And her "unpopular" music is good too. Not to mention the fact that "talent" is an arbitrary thing that is subjective and doesn't really mean anything. Also she's 17. She was 13 when her first hit was released. And that was her first song ever released.

People hate Billie Eilish because her music is overplayed and then they get desensitized to her voice and think she isn't talented. She's incredibly talented. She's also a 17 year old girl and I'm sick of people hating on her for stupid reasons.

book

Shoot me a good one and I’ll take a listen.

Try watch.
Dom what music do you like?

book

Too much to explain. I like Starset for the hardness mixed with emotion and I like Broadway for the pure talent mixed with emotion. I love most things that move me.

book

It didn't move me, but it was far higher quality than I have heard from her. I redact my previous statement.

Not to mention with how vague the restrictions are people have been coming under fire for: having animated avatars, discussing animation (even if it's adult animation), talking about LEGOs, using bright colors, discussing shows and movies that kids like, and more.

Omg I changed Dom's mind. Hell yeah.
Yeah, thats why I like musicals too. No other music portrays a story like that.

book

Hell yeah Mox Lol. It can happen. In my mind the wisest person is one always open to changing opinion, yet never changing opinion without a good reason.

hey random unpopular opinion:
give teachers guns so they can prevent school shootings

group
@Moxie group

No.

group

Teachers are literally just people. I'm sure almost everyone here could share some horror story about some stupid teacher. Think about your stupidest teacher. Would you really trust them with a gun?

imagine some crazy terrorist man running down the school hall, leaving dead children behind him. you're cowering under a desk, praying for your life, and suddenly BANG your history teacher is standing over the psycho, who is now wounded and incapable of killing anyone else.

idk every time i think of arming teachers I think of my stupid but lovable band director accidentally shooting herself and that’s not a way i want my BD to go

group
@Moxie group

Okay, but terrorists don't really attack schools that often. Do you have any statistics on this?

that's fair, but I would hope that your teacher leaves her firearm in it's holster unless there's an emergency
