Okay, the dude made some really good points (like really good ones) but I still don't think human life is something to be messed with at all. IMO, it doesn't necessarily make us any better than they are (IMO) besides, rotting in jail is a way better form of justice than to just give them the easy way out.
But is it our job to punish them? Or should the death penalty be something that we take no delight in, something grave that must be done to protect the people and maintain justice?
And if it not to be messed with at all are you a pacifist?
Maybe not a pacifist, I do understand when violence is sometimes needed to solve certain types of issues, but it's just having good morals (imo) to know that human life shouldn't be messed with whatsover. We kill them and then what? (and this might sound a bit harsh) but it doesn't really change the fact that the person's dead.

You're not wrong. But there are better ways to make sure that doesn't happen. Such as, adding more security to prisons, isolating these types of people, etc.
In other words, use way more time, people and resources to do exactly the same thing.
But is killing someone really worth it though? We didn't give this said person life and we certainly don't have the right to take it away.
