The inside

Idk how to describe a cockpit thing

Oh the cockpit
Think about how many chairs are in it
Does it have a bunch of drawers?
Is the dash littered with switches, dials, and buttons?
Are the seats in good condition?
Is there a door to it or just a curtain? (like in mine)
Is it cramped or roomy?
Are the windows scratched or pristine?

I haven't written any scifi, but I'd love to BECAUSE SPACE IS ACTUALLY THE COOLEST AND ASTROPHYSICS AND STARS AND PLANETS AND HECK
but I am reading a really great scifi novel called Space Opera that has Hitchhiker's Guide vibes
