@RedTheLoveless

In hunter's safety, I was shown a video of a presenter for gun education who shot his foot during a classroom lecture

lol ouch

@Firebrand

3 arrows when completely through and 2 arrows broke in half inside him.one of the borken arrows narrowly missed his heart, the other got stuck in the bottom of his rib cage. the one of the whole arrows went through his shoulder, another through his gut area, and the last went through his gut but just missed his spine.

hmmm…. sounds like me and this guy would get along…

Holy smokes that's awful…..
Is he gonna be okay? Have they told you yet?

@Firebrand

they told us he is doing better but the injuries are more on the sever side

He should be dead at this point, nobody can survive that. Speaking from a public health nurse point of view, of course.

(I'm not a nurse but my parents are don't come to me for medical advice sorry!)

@Firebrand

like i said his injuries were more on the sever side, if you think he should be dead say that to the guy with a knife that's dancing in his heart or a knife a few inches in his nose with a tattoo that says "hard to kill"

Yeah, but actually it is a miracle he's alive.

@Firebrand

WHich is good he's alive but still…. You get my meaning.

@Firebrand

yeah

How is he doing?

@Firebrand

he was in the hospital for 5 weeks and had to have surgery to get the arrow in his rib cage removed. he is doing well, it's just that he isn't a hunter anymore due to his new found fear of falling on his arrows again.

He should have strapped himself to the tree. For me, that's a requirement. It keep you from falling, and it keeps you safe.

@Firebrand

that was the lesson: always secure yourself. XD

Apparently, it's the flu or some shit. I was talking with my mom and everything was blurry and the next thing i know i'm on the floor. "crap bro." is an appropriate response.
