IKR!!! Lucid dreaming is not what it sounds like. It's actually rather annoying and sometimes frightening. You can feel yourself going into REM (it's a sensation kind of like the thing where Dr. Strange's astral body thrusts out of his physical one.) however, you're still aware that you are, in fact, dreaming, and that you are actually awake…except you're not, you're dreaming…it's kind of hard to control stuff in your dreams - not what you'd expect - and you aren't really immersed in the dream. You're looking into it, but it's hazy. And then if you open your eyes at the wrong time sometimes you'll hallucinate your dreams in the physical world. So yeah. Not as good as it sounds.

I did it for a couple nights to try it out and now it just won't go away. You lay flat on your back and DON'T MOVE. You get a tingling sensation in your legs and eventually your dreams begin.

Whoaaa I need to try that

yeah. it's kinda scary the first time and you really wanna open your eyes but don't because you'll lose the dream.

Yeah…The going into REM part…
Sometimes it just happens when I'm lying on the bed and it my legs just feel frozen and it's weird AF

IKR and like you want to move them but you Can't, you're not paralyzed you just can't. like excuse me what.

@yeetus

Yeah…
And I also seem to know, even in dreams, when the alarm is going to go off. I get it within a 20 second time every time

I don't do that. And the books and stuff always say that you can control stuff in your dreams but that's not true, I can only control my (when I say 'my' I mean me in my dreams's) conscience.

@yeetus

You can, in fact, control your dream. You just needs to train yourself to do that. I managed it, once.

i’ll have what he’s having

@Joneathan

I used to have sleep paralysis a lot, it stopped around the beginning of high school, and I didn't know until like 6th or 7th grade that it wasn't normal.

@yeetus

Wait…What?

@Joneathan

yeah, I just kinda accepted it as a normal thing when I was little. My mom always said that the angels watched over us at night so I always thought of what people call the 'shadow people' as angels and it made things much more calm for me.

@yeetus

Wait…
What are you talking about?

it's not lucid dreaming, that's for sure.

@yeetus

Yeah…
Lucid dreaming isn't a quarter that creepy

That hallucinations are great…

@yeetus

Once, in class, we were sharing stories of when we were sick. I took notes (on my forearm, don't ask) and hallucination is not great
