It's really hard when you can't trust the person you see the most and should be the most trustworthy. I understand that feeling.

Honestly, while I don't completely relate to this, I would like to say a thing about toxicity, and toxic friends, because this hits home a lot deeper than I expected.
My experience with toxic friends probably started, actually, in maybe third grade I think? But by far, the most toxic friend I've had so far was in fifth grade. I mean, my personal opinion about her is that it really wasn't her fault. Her mom probably put a lot of pressure on her… anyways, the whole point of me saying this is don't be like me. Don't do what I did. Go up to whoever is being toxic, tell them firmly, "No," and walk away from them. Don't let them do things to you, and above all, don't let them beat you down, and make you feel like you're inferior.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk. I- I will leave now.

This.. This hit me hard… and it hurts to know how much you're right… but what happens when that toxic person is someone of higher authority? And when they won't listen to you no matter what you try? What do I do then?

I-I'm sorry…
The only way I got out of my toxic relationships was really by moving schools… I bounced around a lot in elementary school, and I… I can't say no to people easily. I'm easily manipulated because I let them.
I have… really no suggestions for you. You could talk to another adult, but…
I'm sorry…

That doesn't help much in my case…. since it's one of my parents that's being toxic….

Thanks for trying, and don't worry to much… I'll survive, and then figure things out.
