Looking for writer friends!

finished putting new floors in the living room finally but it didn't help with my crippling depression so that kinda sucks lol. I did move from my bed to the couch though, so I guess that's progress

thanks and I might have to get out of the house soon if I get the job I applied for. Speaking with the manager when I was applying didn't go to well though. My mind blanked and I laughed and said I was nervous (I didn't want her to know I was nervous) and when I left I refused to talk to anybody for the rest of the day

Damn, I'm sure the person appreciate your honesty though and it would show that you really want the job since you were nervous for it I guess but goodluck!

Yeah I've been trying to get a job for a while but i've never gotten as far as an interview but hopefully I'll find one

Well if you're young and don't have much work experience, it's always a good idea to call them a few days after turning in the application. Taking an extra step and just asking them if they've had the chance to review your application shows them that you're eager to work, and it immediately makes you a better candidate than some other people who've applied.

Hey I like reading and drawing too, I like baking but I'm not too good at it haha, what kind of stuff do you draw?

A lot of stuff lol. I have a strange drawing style, I usually kind of draw a regular thing like a person, flower, or animal but I'll always end up twisting it by doing something like make the flower melt into ink or put a broken television where the person's head it supposed to be.

ooooo that sounds really cool I love that kind of stuff! My art kind of goes in phases and I don't necessarily have a style right now because its changing if that makes any sense

yeah that makes sense, I used to do that with all of my art. I don't have my style fully developed yet either (and maybe I never will, but that's okay). I'm kinda all over the place with proportions, shading, and coloring lol

My art is so bad, I used to think I could be an art kid at school but I've been reeled back into the theatre and English departments lmao

this is me with body proportions/poses. Like sometimes I'll be able to draw accurate proportions in my own style and other times my drawings will look like failed science experiments in which scientists attempted to make a human-noodle hybrid
