Im calling it a 'second awakening' because obviously your first is when you decide to pursue the craft and you align yourself with a deity, etc, etc.

But the night before last I was minding my own business throwing tarot and meditating when I was downright claimed by a new deity and boi it's been wild since then.

Ive always felt a connection to Frejya and respected her deeply (she was my main) and I could feel her appreciation for my worship, but it was always a kind detachment you know? Almost like she was taking care of me for when I was ready for my true deity.

smacked me to hard in the chakras that I immediately started happy crying. Ever since then…..gods I cant even explain it.

That's so wild of an experience. Does that happen to every practitioner at some point, or does it only happen on a case-by-case basis?

Also, something is iffy and I don't know what's going on. It's hard to explain, but I feel like there's something attached to my head/mind/crown chakra, or something like an energy block. Whatever is going on, it's heightening my physical senses while fogging up my spiritual senses. This has been going on for around 2 weeks now. My sight and hearing are more sensitive than ever before, and it seems to be condensing my stress/negative emotions of the ever-approaching Finals Week. I even tried meditating just recently, and I got cockblocked from my deities. All I got was "Hello my child" from Aphrodite and then bam, brick wall of nothingness. I didn't even get to sense Aion, and he's my main man. In my heart, I know he's here with me, but I seemed to have lost the ability to sense either of them.

What do I do?

Think of it as your mind is trying to protect itself from further harsh stressors, but inadvertently blocking the good as well.

I would start with a simple chakra cleansing and maybe a tarot spread to see whats up.

In my old circle, our High Priestess used to speak of how as practitioners we grow into the Deities we need for certain points of our lives and that it is okay to switch patrons (albeit gracefully)

I just did a Tarot spread and oh BOI is my energy all over the place. However, I did find out what's wrong: I've been limiting myself. I've had so many ideas recently, and I've been telling myself to resist, to not act upon them because Finals Week. I have to focus on Finals Week and nothing else, everything else gets pushed aside. And I guess it started to bottle up in my head and clog my mind.

Definitely going to do that simple chakra cleansing tonight.

Also I went to the Dollar Store yesterday and bought a white candle and a little wooden box (currently for eggshells but I might try to use it as a manifestation box) and I'm v happy
