Yikes. Maybe just ask him about it?

@Elder-God-Whisper

He believes he’s Fae too, so….

Well, it seems like he has at least some fae blood in him. Probably a descendant or something, if it's that prominent the descendant was either quite recent or quite powerful.

@Elder-God-Whisper

Yeah, it’s slightly scary, lol. Also he has a multiple personality issue too, so that’s fun.

DID?

@Elder-God-Whisper

No clue to be honest, he hasn’t gotten diagnosed. But he definitely switches a lot and it’s given my emotions and mental state hell.

Oh, same, with the switches.

@Elder-God-Whisper

Oof. sympathetic fist bump?

Sympathetic fist bump!

@Elder-God-Whisper

Nice.

@Elder-God-Whisper

So who’s planning what for the first blue full moon during Halloween/Samhain (Depending on what you celebrate) in many many years?

@croccin-champagne

might be able to get a fire going outside, and throw some herbs into it. definitely some meditation and a nice room cleanse, and baking. beyond that, i'm really just looking for ideas

InTheBroomCloset

Thanks for the advice a page back!

@croccin-champagne

no problem!

also guys, i'm getting a pendant with my patron on it tonight! purchasing lmao, has to ship of course

@Elder-God-Whisper

What’s your patron again? I’m sorry, I forgot.

@croccin-champagne

don't apologize, i dont think i ever even announced her on here. it's diana/artemis

@Elder-God-Whisper

Oh, that’s cool. I don’t know much about what having her as a patron entails, but it sounds like an interesting route of witchcraft.

I won't be able to do much, I'll be at someone elses house to spend the weekend, which is unfortunate.

@Elder-God-Whisper

Oof. I’m planning on moving out of my current situation, but I sadly think it won’t happen in time for me to celebrate it, which is making me very frustrated and sad.

oo another question- how do I cleanse my room or my workspace if I don't have candles or quartz or anything like that? I can't burn anything in the house, but my room just feels i c k. I want it to be a calm, clean atmosphere for me to do my rituals and homework and like, sleep, but right now it feels crowded and negative. what are some tools that could help with that? I have moon water and whatever I can find outside.

I've found in a pinch you can take a rock from outside that attracts your attention and charge it with the energy you need, and use that to help you cleanse/repel negative energy (to help with the latter, maybe keep it by/on a window sill)

InTheBroomCloset

Ay that's a good idea. There are some white rocks in my front yard I used to play with and line up when I was little because I thought they were special/holy. Maybe I'll use some of those.

@croccin-champagne

white is a purifying color, so thats kind of perfect! also, simply opening your windows for a few hours and letting in natural light and fresh air does wonders. consider getting one of those desk top fountains at some point, too, because the water helps!

as for diana, it is lmao. generally, it's mostly been a line of practice that involves me coming into realizing who i am, and my own strengths and weaknesses. she helped me realize i needed to get out of my most recent relationship, and working with her is definitely boosting the self love and independence i had been struggling with. there's a lot of moonwork too, which i am not at all upset about because i love any excuse to go stare at the moon lmao

Lol, meeeeee!!

@Elder-God-Whisper

I can’t wait to have my own place so I can start practicing my hedge witchcraft more. It frustrates me to no end that I can’t even though it’s a very non-invasive practice.

@croccin-champagne

what kind of things will you be able to do once you have that space? i'm not entirely sure on what hedge witches practice so i'm interested in learning!

@Elder-God-Whisper

We mostly work our craft into domestic things like making food and baking, actually cleaning is often our cleansing, I would like to burn candles that have sigil carved into it, gardening and caring for plants is something that runs between green and hedge witchcraft, maybe collect rainwater, but I definitely would probably base my own craft in making food and drinks, and caring for my home and other people. I tend to take a few pieces from other paths though, so some people could argue I’m eclectic.

InTheBroomCloset

That sounds like a really hospitable path.

@Elder-God-Whisper

It is! Hedge witches are like those awfully nice neighbors who come over to give you some homemade soup and a get well card when they hear you’re sick with the flu and invite you over for a cup of tea or coffee with cake on the regular. Lol

@Elder-God-Whisper

I aim for that sort of reputation.
