Nice. I mostly commune with 2-3 deities (Aion, Irene, and Gaia) and I mainly practice Green Witchcraft, with some Hedge Witchcraft sprinkled in here and there. I'm currently working as an individual, but I have found a group of witches in my area, and there was speculation of us starting/becoming/joining a Coven.
Although, I find I'm having difficulty. I want to set up an altar, but I'm between two places and one place is very Christian and won't take kindly to me practicing in their home. My friends suggested I make a portable altar in the trunk of my car, but others borrow my car and can easily be found if they open the trunk.
Any advice?
Your altar doesn't have to be very big, nor does it have to be permanent.
In college, I used to keep my altar items within a special box and only take it out when practicing. It was a nice way to meditate and connect with my deities each time I set it up/took it down. I kept the altar box under my bed, specifically where I rested my head.

We only know each other via the internet, so it can't happen when we're together (two different states) but it started around the same time, so it's kinda weird

Neither of us really have any clue. We have a slight joke that it's one of the Ramones because of the "Johnny Johnny" incident (the Johnny Johnny was referencing Johnny Ramone because we are punk trash), but some things happened before that, and we have no clue how it started.

So. For Christmas. My mom, the biggest and most important inspiration in my life, is helping me to make my first. Ever. Altar. And is helping me to at least get a start on my first ever Book Of Shadows. Now this will be interesting because most of my family is super Christian/Lutheran, but. OH WELL. I'm still excited for it.

I'm doing some research just in case, but I am hella afraid something bad is going to happen.
It could just mean that the part of the crystal that broke off was over used and 'died'.
I think it would be wise to do more cleansings and recharges.
