Just came back from hanging out with my boyfriend for the first time in months for a birthday celebration thing
My birthday is tomorrow, not today
We watched Shrek Forever After and it was cool

so there this channel on youtube (omg so mean), they make starkid content, I was subscribed to them at first but I unsubscribed to them because they keep posting starkid homecoming videos. what's the big deal, you may ask, especially if you're not familiar with starkid. well starkid, if you didn't know, is a musical theatre company, and they post all of their musicals on their YouTube channel for free. they give us so much content for free and I don't think omg so mean realizes how privileged we are as a fanbase. homecoming is one of the few things that you have to pay for, they need to get their money somehow. and taking their paid for content and pirating it is so not ok. they say that they are promoting it but starkid has already promoted it on their own channel by posting a few songs from it. and they've posted so much homecoming content that it's no longer promotion at this point, it's basically a bootleg. I'm normally not against bootlegs but when it comes to starkid who gives us most of their content for free, that is really disrespectful and is not ok.
this is unfair to team starkid who works hard to make their content as accessible as possible, which not many other theatre companies do, and they don't deserve this

AND WHEN EVERY SINGLE COMMENT ON ONE OF YOUR VIDEOS IS SAYING "PLEASE TAKE THIS DOWN AND STOP POSTING HOMECOMING CONTENT, THIS ISN'T OK" MAYBE YOU SHOULD LISTEN

AND IT'S ALSO PRETTY BAD WHEN A STARKID HAS TO COMMENT DIRECTLY TELLING YOU TO STOP, SO STOP

also forgot to mention you get a homecoming album too, so it's not like you don't get anything -_-
