Me, trying to politely explain that your character could not have possibly gotten the key because
1) You were being closely watched by both a highly trained warrior and the princess, who is also trained. They would've noticed (at least one, but probably both), especially because offfff-
2) You literally were not close enough to either of them to get it without leaning forward, and again, you're being closely watched, and you would've been stopped. Not to mention-
3) There's only one key?? And they just locked you back in the room with it??? So you literally could not possibly have it????

My friend was talking about how his group of friends are to debate with and he was going through everyone and apparently I'm too nice and passive to debate with
I used to be amazing at debates, that was one thing I was good at
And this isn't the only thing like this that has happened, it's like every thing I used to be proud of in myself isn't there anymore
- Talk to your friend about debating.
- I know that it may not feel like it, but the things that make you proud of yourself are still there.
