Eurovision Song Contest is a huge song contest in Europe where most european countrys compete with a song each and then the winner gets to host the competition next year and stuff. We have smaller ones too before the big one, like just for your own country to decide who gets to compete for the country.

Who judges it?

Every country get to vote for their favorite. Like, everyone in the country. We call in and vote and then the votes are counted and a host from your own country presents the result from the country in live tv. You can’t vote for your own country tho

Sweden has won the entire thing like 6 times since it started and we are almost always in the top even if we don’t win… also there are a lot of swedish songwriters writing the songs for other countrys as well… for once I’m proud of my country lol
This year Israel are our hosts, so it’s gonna be in Tel Aviv, since they won with the song ”toy” last year… it was basicly a song about how badly some girls are treated by some boys, like toys
