So I was eating outside because none of my friends share my lunch period, and some stranger Trumpettes got cranky that I was sitting on the one picnic table and their friends had already filled up the only other table so they said "let's just sit on the grass" before eventually deciding to sit by me.
"Whatever, I'm just gunna sit by this kid who has no idea we're here"

So I said "I can hear you,"

Which was… misgendering but nicer than normal because I'm AFAB and it was cool that a whole group of probably transphobes (i don't mean to judge them, but with certain people you can just tell) perceived my voice as masculine enough to make them use the he/him pronoun.
Anyway I eat my lunch as quick as I can but during that time they called something "gay" in a derogatory way, then one of the girls said "you know what's gay?" And I think they pointed at me, but I know for sure they all just stiffled laughs. I didn't care to look up because the Holy water episode of Unus Annus is hilarious.
Anyway that's my first or second time being perceived as a gay man 👍
