Not specifically white, but i have a story about a man who complains about being discriminated
CW: mention of rape, transphobia
Spoiler - click to show.
I had friend who used to always complained about being a man and being discriminated against. I can get on board with some stuff, like I wish men were able to walk around with their kids and sit at a park without looking sus. There are real labor problems facing men in the work force. Mental health stuff. Men need help in a lot of areas, and I'm happy to support them. but this guy would always complain about how men get falsely accused for rape. (For context, I'm AFAB) Once he deadass said to me "you don't have to worry about getting a false rape claim made against you" and I got so mad like.. listen fucker. You, for the most part don't have to worry about ACTUALLY BEING RAPED. (yes, men get raped i know but statistically out of the two of us, who really needs to do the worrying?). And he went on about how so many women lie about being raped and it can ruin someone's life to be blamed for that. Like. Yeah, it definitely can. But that likelihood of that EVER happening? Low. So fucking low, compared to the swarm of women who never get their case taken to court, and that is what can really ruin a life. People who are worried about getting a "false rape claim" are just worried they won't be able to get away with raping someone when the consent situation was iffy. Practically right after that we got into an argument about trans people, and you can guess his position. "I'm not gunna call people what they wanna be called because I'm not gunna lie to them about their fantasy gender" like. Stfu. He doesn't know I'm non binary, and he never will. I'm trying to stay away from him.
