Okay I have a stupid question. Is the label "questioning" just used for when you're questioning your sexuality, or can it also be used for when you're questioning your gender identity (or both)? (I'm not questioning, I'm just curious).

Not much. I just had my wisdom teeth removed, so I’ve been stuck at home mostly. Got bedding and stuff for my college dorm today though. My mom and I went out to do that, and that’s as much of an outing as I’ve had all week.

I’m majoring in chemistry and taking a pre-med track. I have to take chemistry with a lab and calculus first semester already.

kinda wanna be an environmental scientist or engineer now

I want to study art education and become an art teacher at my middle school, in Butte, or in Colorado Springs, but I have a long way to go

I'm really scared about med school already though. It's just a lot of work and time that you have to put in, and like sure, it's really fulfilling, but it's hard to think about when you're a woman who wants a family someday. And it's also hard to deal with questions like, "oooh, what kind of doctor do you want to be?" Ummm it's astonishing that I have even made my mind up this much. I have not explored my options completely. My career aspirations range from wanting to do research to practicing otolaryngology to becoming a surgeon, so it's too early to decide what I want to do, or if I'll just call it quits and do something else (which I am terrified of, and I'm even more scared my college major will end up being something completely opposite of what I enter as.)

like when I just wanted to be a writer/author/mom/teacher english major sounded great
but uh now my plans have changed a lot
and if I wanna be an environmental engineer I have to change schools
and I'm in at my dream school, where I've wanted to go since I was a little kid
so uh
that's great
the future is scary lol
