I'm honestly really annoyed that the show has Lance and Keith give each other these really soft and full of love looks and gives them bonding moments though when they're going to give them random love interests

And this is mostly just me being upset that Axca and Keith are possible love interests. Like, most of the fandom was convinced that they were siblings and suddenly they like each other. I also kinda think that Allura getting with Lance would be a rebound considering what happened with Lotor, but that's just my inner Klance fanatic talking

I'm also really confused about Hunk's storyline. Like, it showed that he had extended family that were possibly an older sister/younger niece and nephew but his parents are the only ones in the hospital room, which is making me think that the rest of his family died?? And if they did, I'm kind of annoyed that the show didn't address that

I know I'm on a rant but bare with me, there was also just Adashi not happening at all? I can accept that Adam died, but Lauren said that there would be LGBT+ representation, and there was none, because it didn't show Adam and Shiro being a couple at all. It didn't even mention that Shiro was gay. If they hadn't announced anything then I doubt that we would be able to tell that Adam and Shiro had ever been in love with each other

The Voltron writers make a few slip ups here and there, but their writing isn't typically that lazy. Even if Allurance becomes canon, they definitely did the footwork to make it a believable ship, even if you don't necessarily like it. Axca and Keith just can't happen because there's no buildup whatsoever.

no, they needed her as proof of Lotor's experiments, but now she's served her purpose and is extra, and they don't have a good way to get rid of her. Killing her would be lazy and poor writing.

it's my favorite season

They left a lot of questions unanswered, there was hardly any character development except maybe for Hunk and Keith (although that's nothing new), the Allurance was so forced it was painful to watch, the LGBT rep was a complete disaster, what the fuck is going on with Shiro where is my space dad???, why is Sendak still here he should've been dead seasons ago

but I mean we got Veronica so that makes it a little better, and you're right the animation and soundtrack were both prettying cool

yes Hunk was an absolute gift
but Keith was being an asshole to everyone but Shiro and his mom. He was especially being a dick to Lance, who didn't do a god damn thing
which reminds me, Lance deserves so much better
