My band has a thing where we are all related to each other. And we were playing a little break game and I tripped and somersaulted when I fell and it hurt so bad. I just kinda layed there for a bit until my section leader came over and asked me "Are you OK, my child?" And I was accepted.

It all kinda works like that to be honest….
At the end of marching season, underclassmen have the honor to go out and buy gifts for Seniors.
It's wonderful, but you have no idea what they have in mind. Because it's more memorabilia than actually something you ask for.

My brother keeps a small christmas tree in his band locker (since he plays both bass clarinet and bassoon and he needs a big locker) and I was kinda wondering if they would give him like a small ornament for it.
But….
He was always playing rock paper scissors with someone during practice and every chance he got.
So he got a rock some paper and scissors. Which I thought was thoughtful, but extremely cheap.
(But that rock seemed pretty cool….)
