I got a Hamilton book! Like for piano, so I can play it! But they made all the melodies for Soprano and I am Alto 2, so :[

oh my FUCKING god. parents are so fucking annoying sometimes.

I feel like I can't even vent about it because everyone is just gonna joke about how I'm that edgy teenage guy who says "I hate my mom >:(" or whatever. but still.

Felt that. I'm an Alto 1/Soprano 2 so I do get some decent melodies, but alto theatre songs are usually underwhelming.

No like they took Burr's part for "Dear Theodosia", which I can usually sing with zero (0) problems, and they made it soprano, so now I can't sing it and I am angery

Oof. I wish I could have sung Tenor. My vocal range could do it, I can sing all the way down to a low C

I’m a relatively high soprano but I have the weakest, quietest voice that usually only sounds good as backup, yet sopranos in my church choir always get the spotlight
basically I could stop singing and no one would notice

I keep forgetting that people live in California and it's not just entirely movie studios and influencers

What's that one song "California Girls" All lies, Green Grass? Ha, you think we have grass? Love, Southern California doesn't have enough water for basic hygiene half the time, you think we have grass?
Then you get to Northern California and people are like "Wait, your beaches have white sand? that's just weird?"

There are some online programs that you can run music through and it will transpose it into your range, I don't know any off the top of my head but it's a thing.

There are some online programs that you can run music through and it will transpose it into your range, I don't know any off the top of my head but it's a thing.

Yeah, I know. All I ended up doing was dropping the notes an octave, which is easy enough to do on my own, but still. It's irritating as hell also the piano's out of tune so that made it worse but whatever

is it normal to be thinking about a harmless scenario and it to suddenly turn into something violent or with death/accidental manslaughter? Or should I add that to the list of things to talk to my doctor about?

Especially when I’m babysitting, I’m always scared I’ll accidentally kill someone, or purposefully, or they’ll try to murder me via poisoned water supply
