So, every year during the month of June, I've made it a challenge to draw the same character every day in different art styles, all with traditional pencil and paper so everything can be easily destroyed.

…Please remind me to never, ever attempt to

1. Use sharpie fineliners instead of microns, it bleeds and can't handle fine details
2. Try to hide the sharpie ink bleeding with a white gel pen, it just absorbs the bleeding and changes color
3. Color over white gel pen with colored pencil, it doesn't work and leaves an ugly white line
4. Use coconut oil to blend out the colored pencil on top of the gel pen, it just makes the bleeding ink leak even more
5. Create another drawing on the opposite side of the same paper, the coconut oil/ink mixture will soak through, staining the paper and completely ruining yet another drawing that you worked pretty hard on

This month can't end soon enough…

I HATE my sister's friends. They are all such brats. They lead her to do dumb stuff and she acts like them when she is around them. They act all nice to me or my mom, but we all know how bratty and bad of friends they actually are. They are even mean to my sister, but my sister says "they were just joking" or "it was fun". Like today, my sister was going to go to the pool with one of her 'friends' that she hasn't seen in a year. My sister LOVES the pool so so much. But she just called my mom to tell her that they were going to go get ice cream instead of swim because her friend "doesn't like the pool". Like if you don't like the pool, then don't plan on going! Some of her friends are kinda shady too. Maybe my sister moves on from one of those friends, but she happens to find one equally bad or worse.

There are a select few friends of hers that are good people, but too many of them are not the best. But I think I have talked to her about it. I don't really remember what she said, but it seems like she gets defensive if I talk to her about that kind of thing.

I get it. Sometimes it is just best to let them figure out who to hang out with, and who to stay away from. But if her friends get her into some crazy/bad/inappropriate habits, then that's when I would suggest a serious intervention.

Ack… I was at a dance technically yesterday but it was really only a few hours ago. It was so much fun and everything but oh gosh… I’ve been lying awake for three hours now, I haven’t moved an inch, I haven’t been thinking too much, and I even took some medicine to help me sleep, but nothing’s working… I’m so tired I could cry, I have so much to do tomorrow, and coming from someone who can’t function on less than two hours of sleep, this isn’t something I can just get through with a little bit of caffeine….
