"Of course, Caroline." He hummed, scooping her up and carrying her down the hall.

She smiled " I love you Brad" she mumbled
"I love you the most." He smiled as he came up to their bedroom. "There's no changing my mind."
" okay I'll let you win for now" she said with a small smile
"Mmm, good. You always win." He teased, pushing their door open with a light smile.
" that's because I don't give up so easily" she yawned
"Hey- I only give in because I love you." Brad insisted, setting her on the bed.
"I know babe" she said
He smiled softly, pulling the blankets back. "Alright, now lie down."
She smiled and layed down on the bed
When she was comfortable, he pulled the blankets up with a smile. "You need anything?"

"Will you lay with me. . .just for a few minutes?" She asked

"Of course, babe." He told her with a light smile, climbing on the bed and curling up with her. "I'll stay as long as you want me to."
"Thank you…I love you" she said
"I love you, too, darling." Brad smiled lightly, kissing her forehead as he curled up. "More than I can show or say."
" I am sorry that your Dad doesn't like me" she said with a sigh
"Mm, why are you sorry? I should be the one apologizing." He told her softly, resting his head on her shoulder.
" because I know how hard you work and how bad you want to please your dad and make him proud" she said
"It's not the end of the world. I've kind of given up by this point. I'm happy with you, and don't really care what he thinks about our relationship." He hummed a little, giving her a soft smile.
She smiled softly kissing his cheek
"I'd rather be happy with you, then make my dad happy. It's not my job to keep him happy. That's his own." He shrugged as he dropped his head on her shoulder.
"I love you so much Brad Hoax" she said kissing the side of his head
"I love you too, Caroline. You mean everything to me." He hummed lightly, giving her a smile when he was kissed.
" I know I'm hard to deal with " she said " so thank you for putting up with me"
"I mean, you can be difficult at times, but I love you. I knew things would be rocky, when I started this relationship with you." He told her lightly, pulling her hand up to kiss.
She smiled " I love you too"
"Mm… I'm happy to hear that, my love." Brad hummed softly, pulling her waist closer to himself.
She giggled at the gesture smiling at him
Brad smiled softly, burying his face into her shoulder. He seemed to be growing clingy, the longer they laid there. "Mm… you smell nice."
