Leo looked up for a moment, blushing when he noticed Elijah looking at him but giggling softly when he noticed what had happened.

Elijah flushed again and looked back at his plate, focusong his gaze on the eggs.
Leo smiled, holding back another giggle and returned to eating.
Elijah finished the rest of his food quickly. He pushed the plate away and finished the rest of his water.
Leo finished not too long after Elijah. He looked up at him, "Ready to go?"
Elijah nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready." He stood up and pushed his chair in.
Leo did the same. Once he stood, he held out his hand fro Elijah to take.
Elijah smiled. He placed his hand in Leo's. Henloiked around nervously, a habit.
Leo gave his hand a small squeeze and led him out of the cafe and into the sun.
Elijah walked slightly behind him. He kept turning his head, looking at the people they passed. He started shaking again, barely at first and slowly increased in intensity.
Leo gave Elijah's hand a squeeze in reassurance, knowing he wouldn't like too much affection or comfort in public.
"S-so where are we going?" Elijah asked him,turning his head to Leo.
Leo looked up at him, “The mall, we’ll be get a few things and leave, no hanging around for longer then necessary.”
Elijah nodded his head. "Okay." He wasn't sure what a 'mall' was but he trusted Leo.
Leo hummed softly as they headed into the mall. Luckily it wasn’t too busy today which was good. Target was the first store Leo took them into.
Elijah yelped and jumped back at the automatic sliding doors. He stared at them wide eyed. He didn't notice the poeple looking at him weirdly.
Leo gave Elijah’s hand another squeeze, “It’s okay, Elijah,” He tugged on his hand a little, “Come on.”
Elijah stared at tge doors and shook his head vigoursly, taking a couple steps back.
“Elijah please,” Leo looked from the doors to him, “They’re not gonna hurt you and I’m right here. I wouldn’t let anything hurt you, okay?”
Elijah looked at Leo. "B-but i-its-" he whined.
Leo took both of his hands, “It’s okay. I promise, Elijah.”
Elijah trembled in his hands. "You promise?" His voice shook.
Leo gave the back of his hands a kiss, “I promise. I won’t let anything bad happen to you.”
Elijah nodded. He still shook. "O-okay. I trust you."
Leo smiled, “Good.” He tugged on his hands, leading him inside.
Elijah followed behind him, quickly getting out of the way of the doors.
Leo gave his hand another small squeeze, heading over to the men’s section, “Okay, we need to get you a lot of things so let’s start with shirts.”
Elijah just nodded, following him. He held onto his hand tightly.
Leo doubted Elijah would wear graphic T’s so he walked over to the more formal but casual section where there were button up shirts.
Elijah couldn't stop turning his head. He was looking at everything and nothing at all. The wheels in his head wouldnt stop turning.
