Alice in Wonderland but With A Few Twists (OxO) (CLOSED)

Plot Summary: Alice's descendants have been worming their way into the magical world of Wonderland for years. There's just one problem with the most recent visitor- who's supposed to be a she per tradition has turned out to be a he. The occupants of Wonderland have many theories as to why this has happened:

• He's an only child
• The White Rabbit roped in the wrong person
• Wonderland has fallen under a curse of which nobody has knowledge
• Or, he's destined to be the beginning of a new era in Wonderland

While the very much not female Alexander is interested in finding a way out of Wonderland without getting involved in stopping the ongoing war between the Red and White Queens, but his companion, on the other hand, wants him involved and refuses to help him leave until he at least attempts to help solve the conflict.

I'll be playing Alexander! The companion can portray any character you like as long as it isn't the Red/White Queen. The characters are not required to meet right away, I'm perfectly fine with us waiting for a page or two before they meet.

Romance is welcome if you like but please don't get distracted from the rest of the story! :)

• Unselected characters become NPCs, we may divide them up if you like.

(I suppose I'll go right in with it. The starter might be a bit bumpy so please bear with me lol)

(I told you this was gonna be bumpy. I've got a bit of writer's block at the moment.)

Alexander was at a loss. He'd been stuck in this awful place which some called "Wonderland" for what felt like days, when in reality it had only been a few hours. 'It's just a fever dream,' he initially told himself, but upon feeling tired and hungry, he realized it was very much the opposite as he wandered through the woods, speaking to himself all the while.

"This is stupid. There are insects everywhere, everyone here is a damn loon, and I can't even find anything to eat or anywhere safe to rest," he ranted, doing his best to ignore his surroundings until he picked up on the scent of tea and sounds of chatter coming from somewhere nearby. Annoying as he knew this encounter would be, Alexander wasn't about to pass up a chance at food.

"Alright, I've just got to walk over there, ask to take a seat, and try not to get annoyed when they call me Alice," he mumbled to himself, then began taking slow steps towards the clearing- he had already noted there were far more chairs than occupants at the table.

"Uh, may I please have a seat?" he asked loudly, this question directed at the back of a head with rabbit ears (the March Hare).

(I was thinking like 18-25? I intend for Alexander to be 19, going on 20.)

"Well I can reassure you that I'm certainly no Alice," Alexander replied, gesturing to his flat chest, "I'm not quite sure why everybody thinks that. Just tell me if I can't have a seat as I've got better things to do than waste energy by listening to you lot, and if you're going to make any comments about how my skin, hair, and eyes are the wrong shade to even be a descendant of whoever Alice is, don't speak at all."

Alexander had taken on a defensive stance- one which prepared him for fleeing or fighting.

"I will be leaving with food no matter what you say, though," he added, replacing the venom in his words with something akin to exhaustion.

(Description from the first roleplay I used him in (Sasha is short for Alexander in case you didn't know): Standing at 5'6", Sasha's slim figure isn't very intimidating-he's more like a dog than anything with his wide, down-turned brown eyes and attentive posture. His skin is a light shade of brown dusted with freckles, which makes his wavy hair seem slightly darker than it is. When in public, Sasha keeps his medium-length hair down, but he prefers to wear it up when alone or at home.)

Alexander was slow to take a seat, as he felt a need to inspect every single thing out of general curiosity.

"You wouldn't happen to have any idea as to how I got here, would you?" he asked the hatter, eyes skimming over the food in front of him-he decided on cramming as many scones as possible onto his plate-as he gave a brief overview of what events had preceded his arrival. "You see, some of the strangest things happened to me before I arrived. I was out in the garden when a white rabbit wearing a waistcoat bumped into me as though it were in a hurry and I swear I heard it speaking to itself. I chased it to a hole in the ground because I never see wild rabbits and figured it must have been someone's pet but next thing I knew, I was falling an-and I woke up in some weird room and from then on everything has just been a nightmare."

Alexander was aware he sounded frantic, but everything had been so confusing, for example; Why did the hole attach to a room with doors? How had the rabbit made it's way out? How hadn't he broken or sprained anything after his fall?

(Addison sounds pretty cool! :0 Maybe during the RP he could tell Alexander about his tattoos and maybe why he got them?)

Alexander's face visibly twitched at the word dark.

"Assuming the twins were the identical cucks having a battle over a damn rattle and not letting me through, I have spoken to the two," Alexander said, taking a large bite out of a scone as he did so, "I'm not sure if I've met Cheshire, though. Assuming I really am meant to be here, what exactly is my purpose? This isn't going to be some bullshit where I'm kidnapped by a dragon and get married to a supposed savior, is it? If that's the case, I'd like to find a way out of this hole as soon as possible."

(Addison sounds pretty cool! :0 Maybe during the RP he could tell Alexander about his tattoos and maybe why he got them?)

(Thanks! Sure, sounds good :) also, the way I'm thinking of the inhabitants of Wonderland: maybe they kinda reincarnate or whatever with each generation, and are slightly different with each Alice. They don't always remember much of their "previous lives", but usually remember at least vague ideas from it, if not details. Does that work with what you're intending, or was there another way you were thinking of it?? Because that wasn't really clear)

"Don't be sorry. I guess I'm just stuck here for eternity. Dying in the woods won't be too bad I suppose," Alexander sighed dramatically, leaning back in his chair, "Ah! I've been meaning to ask, what's up with all the mentions of war between two queens? You're probably the first to not yell at me about it."

Alexander shoved a few more scones in his mouth- he was so hungry that he'd forgotten manners existed.

"Mmm, sorry," Alexander mumbled, "I suppose it really isn't any of my business. I should get going anyways, maybe I'll meet that Cheshire person you mentioned. Plus, I don't think I can much stand the snoring of that mouse anymore."

Alexander pushed his chair out and stood up, his joints loudly popping as he did so. "Any advice for my journey? Or am I about to happen across a wise old sage who will train me for years until I'm ready to face my greatest enemy?"
