Teya perked up, “Photography? That’s really cool!l

Yesim blushed a bit. "Oh, thank you…"

“What do you take pictures of?”

"A lot of random stuff."

Teya laughed, “Like what? Name one thing.”

"Portraits."

Teya smiled, “Yeah? Artsy, Instagram ones or like a paid “I want pictures of my kids hugging in terrible matching outfits” kind?”

Yesim chuckled. "I do both but I try to make paid photos look good."

“Do you have any projects right now?”

"A few, but not that many."

“Would you ever want to quit your job to do photography full time?”

"No, definitely not."

“You love what you do now?”

"Yes, of course, that's why I do it."

“That’s really cool. A lot of people never get that chance. I’m glad you get to do something you love.”

"Yea…." Yesim's face flushed just a bit.

“When did you know you loved what you do?”

"Well, it's always been an interest of mine and I loved it more when I got the job."

Teya smiled, looking down at the table, “I love that you love what you do. I wish I could be as fortunate.”

"What do you mean…?" Yesim asked, looking a bit worried.

“Nothing. It’s just that, I work as a secretary at this bullshit office. I want to be an artist or something like that, but I just can’t sustain a living like that.”

"Oh-I can help if you want met to."

Teya smiled, “I don’t know how you’d do that, but either way, it’s okay. It’s just the way of life.”

"Are you sure?"

“…yeah. Yeah, I’m sure.” Teya said, though it seemed that she was really trying to convince herself more than Yesim.

"You don't sound so sure…." Yesim replied.

Teya thought it over, “I don’t know. It’s fine, I guess. I mean, we’ve only just met. That would be so rude of me.”

"Nonono, it's fine. If you need something, just say it and I'll see if I can help."

“That’s so sweet, but…what would I even ask for? You to fund all of my impulsive endeavors? I couldn’t leech you like that,”

"But I feel bad," Yesim replied.
