"Well, everyone makes mistakes…" Tobias said softly. Resident healer…. I feel like I've heard that before…
Megan raised her eyebrows. "Of course – I would never try to do that…" She mounted Frost, assuming she gave her permission earlier.
Frost adjusted her footing under Megan's weight before heading out, picking up speed she headed for the eastern edge of the valley.
"yes, but my brother should know enough to not push his limits." said Chris.
"That's also true…" He murmured. I always try not to push myself too hard, but I do like some sort of challenge.
Megan held on tight to Frost as they picked up the pace into the lush wilderness.
Frost lept over a few gorges, using her ice abilities Elsa-style to get across. Picking up the pace she flew onto a rocky path, racing up into the cliffs.
Megan squeaked as Frost lept around and such, jostling her side-to-side a little. I can assume she knows what she's doing…
Frost slowed a little, but didn't stop as they reached the pathway along the outer rim of the valley, slowing to a walk.
Megan glared around, absorbing every little tiny detail she could with just her eye. "Well… You must be lucky to live in a place like this… Surrounded by environmental beauty…" Unlike where I live….
"From what Firiko told me your world has its own beauty too." She said, "besides, every world has its own problems."
"Oh of course…" Megan said quietly. "I mean, there's people everywhere and noise and everything…. It's good to take a break from all the bustling stuff to finally relax."
"People everywhere huh?" Said Frost. "Sounds like fun!"
"Well…. Not really… They don't necessarily know you, and sometimes they just get in the way of what you really need to do…" Liam is a perfect example on so many levels… Yet he's no stranger.
"True" said Frost, "But think about all the new people you could meet!!"
"Some of those people don't want to be met. Believe me I've seen people like that…" Megan shuttered.
Frost felt her movement, "Well everywhere has at least one of those types, thankfully not in this valley. My mother would rip their throat out."
"I'm sure she's a nice person…." Or a violent one… Hard to tell… Or annoyed by stupid people. Because I know a few bodies where I'd tear their throats out too…
"Yeah, she's pretty cool, as long as you don't mess with me or her brothers…"
“Oh, of course not. I would never do such a thing…” Unless they happen to be harming me, but by the sounds of it, I don’t think that would happen with them anyways.
"I didn't exactly mean you specifically. Those two are a pain sometimes, she wouldn't blame you if you got mad."
“Ah…. well that’s alright…” Megan dismounted and shuffled through the foliage to see if she could discover something amazing that she’d never seen before. “I always get people who are like that.” All too often, too….
Frost watched her, taking fresh air. "i didn't mean the bad kind of annoying, I meant the prank kind of annoying." she said, "Those two are worse than Luma and Firiko"
“I’ve truthfully never seen Firiko be that kind of annoying… he was always nice with Tobias when I was busy…” But then he had a small breakdown when he left to take care of Luma. Or whatever he needed.
"He's not actually that bad" said Frost, "Arthur and Luma are the worst though… probably because of their affinity to chaos.."
"Chaos???" Megan said with a scrunched face. "Is that just speaking generally, or…."
"Generally speaking, plus they have a talent for using Chaosae auras." said Frost, "Basically they are really good at weilding Chaos magic, and depending on how in tune you are with your powers…. well.. It can affect your personality too."
"I can't tell if it's good or bad…." Megan brushed her hand in some grass, feeling its lushness. I could stay here for the rest of my life…
"Technically Chaosae is considered a type of dark magic… but Chaos is also it's own element… so it's more or less neutral." she said, "Harmonix is the same, though it pulls towards light."
"I can imagine some magic elements have some sort of nuances…" I don't even know if I'm using that word right…. Megan walked and paced around, feeling the absurdly soft earth under her feet.
"Well of course they do!" said Frost, "For starters there are different variations of element based power, and then there's the fact that it's different for every user. There are infinite possibilities."
"I'm sure there is…" Megan was looking around when she found an interesting tree. She was able to get a sturdy hand and lift herself up into the branches to explore the trees.
Frost shifted, watching her carefully. She didn't bother trying to climb, it wasn't her thing.
Arthur and Matt, suddenly whipped around the top of the roock, causing wind to sweep up around them, messing up everyone's hair and ruffling Chris' feathers.
