Growling, Erocthmai responds with, "Not unless we erase all traces of you from their systems."
An Unusual Encounter
"how? " she said sarcastically.
"I wasn't a mercenary for nothing, you know." Erocthmai responds, chuckling.
keava sighed. " alright.." she said and curled into elly
Erocthmai chuckles. "Good. I need to go now. I'll be back."
"n..no please.." she whined
"C'mon, you know how fast I am." Erocthmai grins. "I won't even be gone very long. I'll be back before you know it."
" elly can you just stay for a moment longer?"
Sighing, Erocthmai agrees and stays. 30 minutes later, she's up and out the door, only the warmth of the spot she was in and the still echoing sound of the door being slammed behind her marking her presence. A half an hour, then an hour, then 2 hours pass, and there was still no sign of Erocthmai. Finally, nearly 5 hours later, she return, looking hagard but triumphant.
keava jumped up from the couch, almost tackling her partner " WHERE WERE YOU?!"
she was scared..
Erocthmai yelps despite herself, then gingerly hugs Keava back.
"I did it, Keava. You no longer exist." she mumurs into the shorter girls hair, chuckling.
keava sniffed " i thought you got hurt.."
Erocthmai shakes her head slowly. "Not much more hurt than I already was."
But she was lying. She could feel the stab wound to her side slowly leaking out her life. Later, when she's standing in the kitchen, talking with Keava, she collapses.
"elly!" she yelps, now seeing the blood she immediately takes into action. grabbing the medkit and suiters. she stitched erocthmai up and hopped for the best
Erocthmai was barely conscious, and chuckles. Her eyes focus on Keava's face. "Sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I thought I could handle it when you went to bed, so you didn't have to worry."
"elly.. tell me these things!" she said softly and put her forehead on ellys.
Erocthmai chuckles, her breathing turning deep and even as she falls asleep right there on the kitchen floor.
The next morning, she finds herself on the bed, and she gives a bemused glance to Keava, who was already up and watching her intently. "Hey, I'm fine now."
" . . . " she keeps watching her, her eyes stained red
Erocthmai crawls along the bed, ignoring the pain that had been plagueing her, and drew Keava close to her. "Hey, I'm okay. I'm fine, okay?"
keava melted into the other's embrace, crying softly ' i was so scared.. you… you passed out an. and I.. i couldnt.."
Erocthmai nods, holding Keava tightly, rocking her back and forth. "Yeah. I can't promise it won't happen again, but-"
Her words are cut off by Keava's sobs.
keava couldnt help herself, "elly, please! don't go away like that again!"
Erocthmai nods. "Okay, I won't."
keava eventually calmed down. " i love you"
"Still a mistake, you know." Erocthmai murmurs.
" keep protesting and ill kiss you more"
Erocthmai turns slightly red and chuckles. "And as long as you keep kissing me, I'll keep protesting."
keava leaned up and kissed erocthmai, wrapping her arms around her neck
Erocthmai grins, then kisses Keava back. After a few minutes, she breaks away. "You need sleep."
" you need me."
