An Unusual Encounter

Erocthmai chuckles. "Yeah, but you should sleep. I'm serious, Keava."

"then you too," she said

"You forget: I don't really sleep." Erocthmai grins.

" i know but at least lay with me.."

Erocthmai giggles. "I already am, aren't I?"

" yeah but we're sittingg up.."

Erocthmai leans back, pulling Keava down with her.

keava stayed on her chest and yawned " comfy.."

Erocthmai grins, and listens as Keava falls asleep again.

keava holds tight to the other, she started to cough as her body began the retaliation from the different DNA.

Over the next few months, Keava's condition grew steadily worse as Erocthmai healed. Slowly, her bones healed and each day she was able to move faster and faster. On the day that Erocthmai was finally healed fully, and she took the bandages off one last time, she looked at Keava gently. She'd become quite attached to the former SCP guard, and she leaned down and kissed her gently.

"It's time to do it, Keava." she murmurs, slowly stroking the girls hair.

keava coughed harder " then lets get ready.." she said softly

Erocthmai shakes her head, pushing Keava back down gently as she tries to rise. "You stay here, love. I'll do this."

" i have to come with, im not leaving you alone!"

Erocthmai shakes her head again. "No can do. I can't have you dying while we try to keep you alive, Keava."

"you promised." she whined

"What I promised was to save you. I never said you would go with me." Erocthmai says, her eyes betraying her feelings while her face looks flat.

keava " im trained to kill i wont get killed. please"

"So am I. And I did it for 12 years before I was captured. I'll be fine, Keava." she murmurs.

keava put her forehead o the others " come home safe.."she said softly

Erocthmai nods. "I will."

She hops off the bed, and Keava doesn't even see her leave. It's hours before Erocthmai comes back, and she covered in gashes and blood. She tosses something at Keava, saying "Eat", then collapses, unconscious.

keava, despite her need, didn't listen. in an instant, she was helping elly and fixing wounds. shed developed a healing like power that helps elly but not her

Erocthmai slowly comes to, and sighs.

"Keava!" she groans, getting and and force-feeding Keava the thing. Immediately, Keava's complexion clears, and she straighten. She looks healthier than she had in a bit.

Oh, thank god. she thinks, leaning heavily against Keava.

keava holds elly "… "

Erocthmai sighs. "What am I going to do with you?"

" love and hold me?"

Erocthmai laughs. "Good to know you can still be sassy."

She picks Keava up easily, and they're on the bed before she can blink.

keava smiled, used to her partner's tricks by now. she laid her head on the woman's chest and sighed happily

"So, now that you aren't sick, I suppose we should see if you still have your powers, huh?" Erocthmai asks.

" yeah, sure." she said and looked up at elly
