"I don't think I've ever seen you not know the answer to something, this is a first." She smiled in amusement and shifted around in her chair, wondering what else to talk about to keep the conversation going.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He shrugged his shoulders. "I could make an educated guess, but that would not be a real answer."

@gracehustle

Thesa shrugged in return, still smiling slightly, "Still, the all-knowing Zev doesn't know something." She was obviously joking from her tone, but it still made her wonder why Alexi had left Zev there, especially since Zev himself didn't know.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev shrugged again. "Yes. I cannot read minds, and…there was a lot of chaos at the time. I believe i was left because I was not human, and getting the humans out was the priority."

@gracehustle

"That makes sense..but still, I don't think Alexi would be the type to leave his most prized creation in the middle of space on a hunk of metal." She explained, her attention turning to the window for a minute before she focused back on him, happy to know that they were still on course.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"He most likely would have meant to come back for me, but that was rendered impossible or very difficult. I am unsure why, but that would be the most likely thing." Zev explained.

@gracehustle

Thesa nodded, only humming in response while she pulled her legs up to her chest and propped her head on her knees. "Still, you're a very valuable android, and even as big of a pain in the ass as you are, I think Alexi would've found some way to get to you." She eventually said with a chuckle.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"True. As I said, there were likely extenuating circumstances that prevented him from returning." Zev replied.

@gracehustle

She didn't answer, just nodded again and watched the inky black sea of space around them. It wasn't completely dark, with the stars poking through and interrupting the black with dots of pale orange and white.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev looked at the stars through the window, trying to identify each one.

@gracehustle

"If he remembered that you were there, he wouldn't have stopped trying to get to you," She said suddenly, scooping up her book and opening it to start reading again, "No matter what was going on, someone who cared about you wouldn't have left you there for what..thirty years?" Thesa left it at that though, going stubbornly silent and hoping her focus showed that she wouldn't answer if he talked to her.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev shrugged. "I am a machine. It did not matter how long he waited, I would still be in the same condition as when he left. Except for my hand, I suppose." he glanced at his wrist, the one that malfunctioned.

@gracehustle

"Humans have life expectancies though," She grumbled, curling into her chair and pouring over the book instead of letting herself repeat what she had said louder so he could hear.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Ah, that's true." he replied. He had very good hearing, and probably hadn't realized that she didn't mean for him to hear.

@gracehustle

Thesa just shook her head, letting the conversation drop even though she had more she wanted to say and ask. He probably didn't know the answers though, and even as much as she told herself that, the questions still bounced around in her head and distracted her from reading, causing her to reread the same page several times.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev continued to watch the stars out the front window, quiet. He didn't speak, since he didn't really have anything to talk about.

@gracehustle

"It'll be a few hours before we're even in sight of where we're meeting them, so I'm going to crash for a while." She declared after a few minutes of rereading every page she tried to read. Thesa stood up from her seat and glanced at him as she walked back to the back, wasting no time as she flopped onto her bed and closed her eyes.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev nodded. "Alright. I'll wake you if there is an issue." He replied calmly, still looking out the front window.

@gracehustle

She didn't even bother throwing a blanket over herself, just rolled onto her side and tried to fall asleep, even just take a few minute nap and waste some time. Having a ship that could mostly steer itself normally got boring, so she was used to it, but with an extra person on board, she had no clue what to do, it limited her options majorly since she had to act a little bit normal.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev was quiet, watching the stars and doing his best to identify each and every one of them.

@gracehustle

Eventually she did fall asleep, not waking up until quite a few hours later. She didn't get up right away though, yawning and tossing around on her bed in an attempt to maybe fall back and get even just ten more minutes of sleep.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev was silent, waiting for her, or for them to arrive at the meeting spot with Alexei.

@gracehustle

"How close are we Zev?" Thesa shouted from her comfortable spot still laying on her bed. She really didn't want to get up, and wouldn't until they were close to meeting up with Alexei.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"I believe we are approximately an hour away." he replied, turning to look back at her.

@gracehustle

She didn't respond, just sighed and decided she should get ready. Looking like she hadn't changed in three days wasn't the look she wanted to meet her childhood role model with, especially if it was also the last time she would most likely see Zev or talk to him.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev was quiet, watching the stars and waiting to see when they would arrive. He hoped it would be soon.

@gracehustle

Thesa took her time getting ready, deciding to look the most like a strong and independent person as she could. "Tell me if you see their ship," She called to Zev as she combed through her short hair, reminding herself that she needed to cut the sides again quite soon, they were getting long. A simple outfit was all that she threw on, sturdy black pants, a tight black shirt and brown jacket open overtop to add some variety along with her normal boots. Maybe adding a knife or two was overkill but she did it anyway, tucking them carefully into her boots and making sure they were both in their sheaths so she didn't stab herself.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev nodded. "I will tell you." he replied calmly, his eyes still watching as their ship headed inexorably on the course it had been set on.

@gracehustle

She was well aware of the rule regarding no weapons that Alexei had relayed through Zev, but even having the knives on her made her feel better and safer, though it was very likely they would be taken away from her very fast.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev was quiet, waiting to be able to see the ship. He cocked his head slightly, glancing back at Thesa, then back at the front again.
