Naize leaned up and kissed luna softly

Luna kisses her back, then pulls away.

"Okay. . . so quick question. If death bothers you so much, why are you an assassin?" she asks.

“ it is worth killing the people that kill so much”

Luna tilts her head.

"In the end, wouldn't you be the one that killed the most? Do you plan on taking your own life after eradicating violence?"

“ you do not want that answer.”

"So you plan on being another martyr, dying on a cross for the sake of ending violence? What happens when you die, then? Violence comes back. It's human nature, Naize. Sure, some humans are good, but at their base, they are savage, violent. They haven't evolved away from instinct, far from it. They just keep it hidden." Luna murmurs.

"And then there's the humans that are just cruel and violent for the sake of cruelty and violence. Some of them were shaped into that. What will you do to them? Kill them too, or try and reform them?"

“I-“ she thought for a moment “ I am only trying to get them to stop their stupid fighting. If they could see it the way I do there would be no fighting!”

"Humans have been thinking and saying that for centuries, Naize. I don't think they can, not yet at least. They need to learn to care more, instead of less." Luna replies.

Naize nestled into luna, sighing softly

Luna looks down.

"You didn't deny what I said, by the way. . ." she whispers.

“ I have already been shot at once. let them kill me off by killing the world.”

Luna growls, low in her throat.

"No." she says.

“ if humans kill all life on earth I die! The earth is dying. And so am i”

Luna grabs Naize, pressing her face close to the smaller girls.

"I don't care. You will not die, you hear me? Swear it to me. Swear it on this Earth and the Moon." she growls.

“ luna.. They'll kill the earth long before I can save it..”

"Promise me."

“ I can't make promises I can't keep..”

Luna pulls back, wiping at her face.

Naize looked up, wiping the tears “ you fell in love with me at the wrong time..” she mumbled the joke half-heartedly. Helping to wipe lunas face

Luna inhales sharply at that, then buries her face in her hands.

Naize put her forehead on lunas, tearing up a bit, “ please don't cry..”

Luna shakes her head roughly.

"Don't make those kinds of jokes." she whispers.

“ I'm sorry, “ she whispered back, putting her hand into lunas

"Thank you. . ." she murmurs.

“ mhm”

Luna sighs and looks up. It looks like pure quicksilver is running down her face.
