((Kevin. That's who Henry's partner should be, in order for them to compete against each other in the last round))

Babe's shoulders were shaking from repressed laughter as she watched them go through. They got along great, but they needed a bit of work when it came to playing together. "Tha' was quite the show."

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry bent over panting. "I certainly hope so!" Kevin pushed away from them, lifting a hand.
"Water break!" Henry laughed in response and skated over to Kai again and grabbed his water.

Babe followed, obviously keeping as much weight off her ankle as she could, and plopped down onto Kai's other side.

"You're going to kill them." Kai said, looking at his sister, and then over at Henry. "She's going to kill you."

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry looked up from his water. "Why would she kill me? And Babe, you should be staying off that ankle. It needs more rest." He bent and took another huge gulp of water, trying to get his breath back.

"My ankle's fine, mom." Babe said, sticking her tongue out at Henry.

"I know exactly what she's got planned next." Kai said, shaking his head. "You're going to die."

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry looked back at Kai. "You mean literally kill? Or like, see who can play hockey best while being choked?"

"You're just lucky I couldn' find any ankle weights." Babe grumbled, pulling her injured leg up onto her other one as she loosened her laces.

"See?" Kai threw his hands up, nearly hitting his sister in the head.

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry ducked away from the hands, just to be safe. "You should take the skates off, Babe. Give your ankle a break and coach from the sidelines."

"A good coach is out there on the ice, any chance she gets." Babe said, shaking her head. "I'll be fine, Jacobs. Skated on worse before."

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry sighed. "If you permanently break your ankle, I will say I told you so." He leaned back in the seat and turned to look at the two of them.

"Congrats." Babe said, sounding unconcerned as she slipped her skate off, checking the swelling on her ankle.

"You two bicker like an old married couple." Kai stated, looking between the two of them. "It's weird."

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry shook his head. "I'm serious, Babe. That doesn't look good. Kai, as soon as she's home make sure she lies down and puts some ice on that ankle."

"Yes sir!" Kai saluted Henry, before turning to Babe. "You heard the man. Once we're home…"

"I know, I know. You wanna come along t' make sure it happens?" Babe asked Henry, tone obviously sarcastic.

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry paused to think. "I might just do that. I have a bunch of algebra homework too, so if my homework fairy's interested, I could use some help."

Babe rolled her eyes, but sighed. "Yeah, the homework fairy can help. I was going to stop and grab dinner for the family on the way back, you willing?"

@BrennaKadavsky

"For food? Anytime." Henry checked his skate laces and glanced up at the clock. "We should get this over with. Hawk'll want to close up soon."

"Right right right." Babe brightened, retying her skate and standing. "Hurry up, Jacobs!" She was out on the ice in no time, clearing things away to set up a new drill.

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry sighed as he pushed off from the wall to join Kevin in the middle. After this, it would all be over. Assuming they survived, of course. Hopefully Kai had 911 on speed dial…

"All comes down t' you two." Babe said, motioning between the two. The equipment she'd set up was spread everywhere, all across the rink, almost like she'd just tossed it. This was Babe though.

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry nudged Kevin with his shoulder, the boys getting themselves ready for whatever was coming. They both fidgeted, unable to stay still while Henry tried to mentally map the course.

"Welcome t' Hell One on One." Babe said, gesturing around the rink. "Basically just a normal match. 'Cept ya got all this stuff in the way, and you gotta deal with it. Ya can only move certain things though."

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry's eyes cleared as he understood the challenge. "Oh, it's on, Kevin." He grinned, grabbing a hockey stick and taking off for the puck. Kevin followed suit, diving into the game.

Babe slid off, to the wall, leaning against the glass as she watched them. There weren't a whole lot of tips she could give, just make sure nobody broke something.

@BrennaKadavsky

The game was short and fast paced. There was a lot of almost tripping, and several yelps. Henry made a score, but Kevin stayed close. They went back and forth like that, a point at a time. Hawk stood, calling to tell them five minutes. At four minutes, Kevin was a point ahead. 3 minutes, Henry had tied. 2 minutes, neither of them had gotten it. Then Henry went for the puck, and Kevin did at the same time. Henry got through, slamming the puck forward and into Kevin's net. It hit hard, going in the same time both boys fell down.

(( don't have a priiiiize picked. I do have a fun idea for drama later though.))

Babe blew the whistle sharply, listening to the cheers of their teammates, who had been watching the match intently. "Nice job, boys! Tha's a win for Jacobs though!" She pushed off the glass, sliding towards them to help them up.

@BrennaKadavsky

They stumbled up, leaning on each other to make it all the way. Kevin sighed, Henry pushing him playfully. "Alright, coach says we're kicked out. See ya'll tomorrow!" Henry called out over the ice, skating slowly over towards Babe and Kai.

"I'll have my brother drop a tu-tu off at your place later, [Kevin's last name." Babe called teasingly, sliding over to the gate and sitting down next to her brother to take off her skates.

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry sat next to her, watching Kevin's face as he left. He unlaced his skates quickly, throwing them in his black bag and slinging it around his shoulder. "You're not driving home, Babe. Not with that ankle."

"You drove me here, remember?" Babe looked up from her swollen ankle as she slipped her socks off. "I ain't got the car today."

@BrennaKadavsky

Henry tapped his head, grinning. "Totally forgot. Alright then, remind me where you live and what you want to grab for dinner?" He asked, grabbing his car keys.
