Apocalyptic rp, anyone? (OxO)

"I'm going to secure the house, help her upstairs," He kissed her cheek and headed upstairs. He made sure the house was safe to stay in and he got food and water together.

She nodded and gently helped the woman get upstairs into one of the bedrooms. After she made sure the room was secure, she went back down to the first floor to find Killian. “Do you think she’ll be alright?”

"I don't know, there's a possibility she'll get killed," Killian rubbed his forehead and sighed, "I don't know, she lost everything so you can't really blame her,"

“She lost her husband and her baby.” She sat down on the sofa. “It’s so awful…”

Killian tossed some bread and peanut butter at her, "The bread is kinda stale but it should work, I'm going to give some to her." He fixed a sandwich for her, "What is her name anyway?"

She walked up to his side, resting her cheek on his shoulder. “Abigail,” she replied. “I believe her husband’s name was Mike.”

"That's a pretty name, not as pretty as Olivia, though." He smiled and placed a hand on her face, "We'll make it through this, hopefully there is a cure or something being worked on, maybe a stronghold that we can make our way to." He laughed at the thought, "If there is such a thing, maybe we can get married," He smiled saying such a thing

“Oh, shut up.” She laughed softly, leaning into his hand. “But… I don’t know. Maybe there isn’t any cure…”

"I'm not sure, I just want to be able to sleep at night, without wondering if I'll be attacked, I want a life with you, where we're safe,"

“A life where no one has to die from all these zombie attacks…” She sighed. “One can hope, right?”

"That too I guess," Killian picked up the plate, "I'm going to take this to her." He made his way upstairs and knocked on the door before entering. Abigail lay there, fast asleep. She looked relaxed so Killian moved without making a sound. He set the plate down and made his way down stairs, he flopped on the couch and sighed, "I hate this.." He muttered

She nodded, leaning into him. “I do too. I don’t know how to help her without putting our lives at risk as well,” she said. “But at least this house is fairly secure…”

"For now," he wrapped an arm around her, "I'm tired.." He shut his eyes, slowly falling into a sleep

She smiled and kissed his cheek before she sat there, holding him for a while. She eventually fell asleep, only to wake up later to the sound of zombies near the home.

Killian was a deep sleeper, once he was asleep almost nothing could wake him up.

She let out a sigh before she got up and began walking around the house, checking to make sure everything was secure. Everything seemed okay, but she couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong.

Killian woke up to see that Olivia wasn't by his side, " Olivia?" He called out. Killian heard the groans from outside, he peaked out the window and watched the dead roam about, "there's a lot of them," he noted.

She nodded and walked over to his side, reaching down to hold his hand. “Do you think they’ll get inside…?”

"I'm not sure, let's go upstairs though." Killian led her upstairs to one of the bedrooms, "just don't make any noise,"

“Well, hopefully they don’t try and break down the door.” She let out a sigh and reached over to hold his hand.

"they shouldn't be able to, we should be fine." Killian wrapped his arm around Olivia, "we'll be fine.." he repeated

“This is what I meant when I said we shouldn’t be together,” she said softly. “We’re constantly living on the edge. We could easily be killed…”

"I don't see how being on edge means we can't travel together," he said angrily, "if it's so dangerous, we should stay together," Killian crossed his arms and glared

Her gaze hardened slightly. “Killian, what would you do if something happened to me?” she questioned. “If I turned into one of them?”

"Then I would move on, try to survive. I'd miss you but I wouldn't fuckin kill myself or something, if you were one of them, you wouldn't be you anymore." Killian sighed, "If you want me to leave so badly, I'll go right now,"

“No, Killian. Don’t. Please.” She reached out and grabbed his hand. “Look, I’m just trying to get through this, okay? I’m trying to keep us alive. I love you, but I’m just scared.”

"The world isn't over, there are still people out there, we'll make it," He reassured her

“You’re always so optimistic.” She smiled faintly, slipping her arms around his waist.” But I hope we make it. I really do.”

"Let's go check on Abigail," He suggested, "She might be awake by now," Killed slid his arms around her, holding her slightly about the ground. He kissed her forehead and waddled towards the door

She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes. “How long do you think it’ll be until we’re able to escape?”
