Lavender giggled, returning the giddy smile. "I can't believe it, I actually found my soulmate." She breathed, eyes wide in excitement. "I've been waiting for this day for ages." Lavender hugged her tighter and let go. "We deserve cookies."
B l e u !
She smiled widely and nods. "You and me both." She giggles and brushes some hair from her face. "I'm so happy." She whispers. "Cookies sound like an ideal." She replies with a smile.
"I think you can be trusted to come to the kitchen with me." Lavender grabbed Raven's hand, standing up and pulling her to her feet.
Raven smiled. "I'd love to." She replies softly and sighs quietly. She smiled and walks beside her as she looked around the kitchen. "How can I help?" She asks curiously.
Lav let go of the hand and handed her an apron. "Here! Help me make some dough." She said, pulling out some ingredients and put on her own apron.
She places her bag down. "Stay here, okay?" She says softly as she pets the tiny kitten. She gets up and washes her hands before smiling at Lavender.
Lavender rolled up her sleeves and gave a wide smile, pulling out a sticky note with a recipe. "Could you put the flour into the measuring cups?" She asked, grabbing some eggs from the fridge.
"Of course." She grabs the flour and measures them out carefully and smiled at the other before sighing softly. She was so happy right now. She smiled and making sure to do what she could to help Lavender.
"So, could I know more about you?" Lav asked, taking the flour and poured it into the mixer. She cracked two eggs to add to the mixture.
"Sure. What would you like to know?" Raven replies with a tiny smile. "Feel free to ask anything." She says happily as she helps around the kitchen.
"Ooh! Okay, favorite color and food?" Lavender clapped and smiled, mixing the ingredients together with the mixer.
"Hm. I love the color purple, it's so soothing to me. And my favorite food is Pork Cutlet bowl. Absolutely delicious." She replies with a bright smile.
"Oh I love purple! I've never had a Pork Cutlet bowl before, what do they taste like?" Lav asked, rolling out the dough on the counter.
"It's super yummy!" She chuckles. "I could make some for you." She says happily. "I love making it."
"That'd be awesome!" Lavender exclaimed, she was really, really, really happy right now. You've finally found someone perfect. Even if it's just platonic, it'll be great.
She nods and smiles. She had finally found her soulmate. She was so happy she thought she'd burst. She wanted nothing more to know the other, to learn about her.
"Okay, so my favorite color is mint green! And I love any type of sweets, modtly cookies." Arinca started to make some balls of dough and setting them onto the pan.
Raven smiles giddily. "Cookies, I can tell. Do you like cinnamon roles?" She asks curiously a bright smile on her lips. She gazes at Lavender and returns to cleaning around the Kitchen.
Lavender nodded enthusiastically as she pushed the tray into the oven. "Yup! I love them a lot. During winter months, we put them out and start selling them." She hummed, closing the oven door.
She nods and smiles. "My mama taught me how to make cinnamon apple ones. They're so yummy." She says as she washes the dishes and puts them away.
"I've never done cinnamon apple ones, you'll have to teach me!" She smiled, interrupted by two of her co-workers coming in. "Cool! Hi, can you two take over for me? I just found my soulmate!" The two looked happy for her and nodded. "There's cookies in the oven!" She told them, pulling Raven out of the kitchen.
Raven smiled at the two workers before starting when Lavender took her arm. She waved before grabbing her bag and allowing Lavender to drag her out of the kitchen and smiles warmly. "Where are we going?" She asks curiously. She looks at Lavender with a soft smile.
"I was thinking we could maybe go have lunch in the park?" She blushed as she said this, just because they were soulmates, didn't make her any less flustered. "There's a good cart that sells crepes."
Raven perked. "You mean the park that sells mouth watering crepes? Sign me up." She laughs as she walks beside the other. There's a soft meow and Raven looks down into her purse. "I know baby." She mutters gently.
"Aww! You have a kitty in your purse!" Lavender just about died, she loved cats okay. "Can I pet her? Please let me pet her!" They walked into the park's gates as she asked that question.
Raven gently pulled the small kitten out of her purse. "This is Lilith. She's my… what you would call a familiar." She smiled and the tiny kitten licked her nose. Lilith had big blue eyes and sleek black fur. "And of course. She's very sweet."
Lavender smiled and pet the kittens silked fur. "Aww, she's adorable and so soft." She admired the animal with a soft smile. "My familiar doesn't like to go to the cafe, so he's at home, probably sunning."
She nods and smiles a little. "Lilith refuses to let me go anywhere with her." She chuckles and gently handed the small kitten to Lavender, letting the other hold the soft kitty. "What's your familiar?" She asks curiously as they walk.
"Oh, a small viper. He's really sweet but a bit moody." She laughed, holding the small kitten with wide, adoring eyes. She's so precious! Lavender thought, not talking about the kitten at all, but talking about her owner.
"Vipers are lovely creatures." She says softly as she smiled. Lilith licked at her hand and mewled softly. Adorable… She thinks to herself as she watches Lavender interact with Lilith. It was so sweet.
