"Do you want to get crepes now?" Lavender asked, holding the kitten with care like she would hold a baby. "I really like the balsamic one, it's so good."
"Sure! I love the strawberry and whipped cream one. It's so yummy." Raven replies as she walks beside Lavender. "I could eat a horse right about now." She chuckles softly.
"Oh no! We'll have to get food right away!" She giggled, handing the kitten back to Raven as they got to the crepe stand. "Hi! We'd like a balsamic savory crepe and a strawberry and cream sweet crepe."
Raven smiled in reply and gently puts Lilith back into the small purse, her head sticking out. She stood beside Lavender and smiled a tiny bit as she did so. She was so happy to have found her soulmate.
"Right away girls." The stand owner replied in a gruff voice, it being a few minutes before they got their crepes. "Here you go, Raven!" Lav smiled and handed the messy crepe to her along with a few napkins just in case.
Raven waited patiently before smiling thankfully when she took the crepe. "Thank you." She says happily as she eats the crepe. "So what's been going on? Enjoying yourself?" She asks as they walk. "Tell me everything. I would love to get to know you."
"Uh, I am enjoying myself. I just can't believe I found my soulmate." Lavender gave a breathy laugh, just honestly happy to be so close to someone she was meant for. "What about you? I want to know you more!"
Raven smiled, "There's not much to me…" She chuckles. "I used to live in Japan before I moved here. I've had my magic since I was five. I really love small animals, and I tend to get overexcited about random things." She chuckles.
"That's so cool!" Lavender said with a mouthfull of crepe. "I'm from here, born and raised in this city. I can't remember when I didn't have my magic and who doesn't like small animals!" She exclaimed, it was obvious she shared the overexcited part.
Raven smiles warmly but her smile dropped and she looked down. People were scared of her because of her magic. She hummed softly and looked over at Lavender. "So. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?" She asks curiously.
"I really enjoy dancing. I teach some dance classes at a studio by my apartment." Lavender eyes closed a bit as she smiled. "I also like to read some things, mostly fantasies." She hummed.
"Really?" She asks curiously, a bright smile on her lips. "I love dancing." She says happily. "And fantasies are my favorite!" She squeals. She was so happy and the moment.
Lavender gasps, clapping happily. "Maybe we could do a mini book club together!" She exclaimed, accidentally dropping her crepe into the grass. "… Fuck!"
She smiled a little bit. "I'd love that." She watches the other drop her crepe. She smiles gently. "Here." She offers the rest of hers. "I'm done." She chuckles.
Lavender laughed sheepishly, taking the crepe. "I'm sorry about that. I can be a bit clumsy sometimes." She tilted her head and took a bite of the crepe, getting a bit on her face. "Mmmmm!"
"It's okay!" She chuckles softly as she runs a hand through Lilith's fur. Sh smiled sweetly as the other ate. She hummed before gently wiping away the stuff on her face.
At the touch on her face, Lavender just about short-circuited. Her whole face was red and even her ears had tints of pink. "I- Uh- Thanks!" She squeaked out after a bit, eyes wide.
Raven had a small blush on her cheeks as she helped Lavender. She slowly pulls away and smiles a little bit. "It's no problem." She looks down at her hands and smiles to herself.
She gave an awkward thumbs up, the bubbly girl still as flushed as a tomato. She decided to stop herself from saying anything else stupid, she would just eat the crepe instead of talking.
Raven smiled in reply before fiddling with her fingers. Lilith paws at her fingers and she chuckles, playing with the small kitten.
(Asking if we could put this on hold for a day or two, my motivation is gone.)
