Axel smiled at her response, running his thumb over her hand. "This is nice, I really like this." He continued to whisper, giving her hand a gentle squeeze as they continued to walk. She was definitely something strange, but he liked that about Janet. Sweet and unique. No other girl he had met was like her.

Janet nodded, agreeing with Axel. It was absolutely wonderful and she couldn't have thought of a better way to spend the day. She had been surprised by how nice he had been to her, despite her not being caucasian. It bothered many people and she was just very lucky to have the friends she had. And she was very glad he hadn't even mentioned it yet.

Axel found himself starring, and blinked away in shame. 'Stop it Axel! Come on, it's rude to stare.' He scolded himself, squeezing her hand a little tighter now. The sun was bright in the sky, and he felt himself starting to heat up. Now he wasn't sure if it was from being so close to her, or if it was the sun. But he definitely felt the heat. "Only a street or two more."

She looked over at Axel, smiling as he talked. The sidewalk was definitely warm, she felt a slight burning sensation on her feet, but small patches of shade cooled them down, and she didn't mind the heat. Looking back to the front, she saw a small group of maybe three or four giving them looks of almost disgust and some with looks of confusion. Her smile dropped and she moved her gaze to the ground.

group

He noticed the group too, glancing between both Janet and the others. "Hey, just ignore them." He said softly, tilting her chin up to meet his gaze. "They're nothing that matters. My opinion is what matters here, right?" He asked softly, sliding his arm around her waist now. "And my opinion, is that you are an excellent girl, with the most amazing smile. Which I hate to see not there, because of some judging people."

A small smile appeared on her lips as Axel talked. He definitely knew how to make her feel better. Of course, she still felt not the best, but the group had moved on and were too busy among themselves. She leaned her head on Axel's shoulder. Her smile grew wider, feeling his arm around her waist.

An idea formed in his head, and he tilted her head back up to hers. "Tell me if I ever do anything you don't like." He whispered, pressing his lips to hers softly. He wanted to show her she was there for her, and didn't care what others thought about the two of them together. So he kissed her softly, but pulled back before she could react.

Janet nodded, about to say something, before she was interrupted by Axel's lips on hers. A smile appeared on her lips as he pulled back. It was perfect. She loved the feeling that erupted inside her. Was it actually love? She decided it was and she wanted more. Standing on her toes, she leaned back into Axel, planting a soft, gentle kiss to his lips.

Something was overcoming him, and he was just as addicted. Leaning forward so she didn't have to, he put his arms around her waist to hold her close to him. Water sprinkled from his damp hair, down his face some along with strands of his blonde hair. Her lips were something he definitely wanted to remember for a long time.

Her arms wrapped around his next, getting herself closer to Axel. Hesitantly, she pulled back a little. She looked into Axel's eyes, smiling quite a bit. "So what does this mean?" She asked, unable to contain her smile. This whole thing was absolutely amazing, she definitely didn't want it to end any time soon.

group

Axel tried to lean forward when she spoke out to him, but stopped himself. "I… don't know." He admitted in a whisper, resting his head on her forehead. He didn't want to push anything, but he definitely wanted to stay close to her best he could. "But I know I want to keep kissing you. I think I might be addicted to you." He whispered, brushing his lips against hers.

Janet giggled, then went in for another kiss. A smile was evident on her lips even through the kiss. Never would she have ever thought that she'd fall for someone she met only a couple hours before. But here she was, on the street kissing someone that she evidently liked quite a bit.

group

Kissing her back, a thought began to echo in the back of his mind. Some form of doubt, but not his own. It was doubt on her behalf. 'She doesn't know, she's the girl I was talking about.' Axel mentioned to himself, knowing he should tell her. Pulling back from her lips, he looked into her eyes with a smile. "Remember that girl I was talking about earlier?"

Janet's smile dropped, remembering the conversation they had. She nodded and looked over his shoulder at the sidewalk. That had totally left her mind and now it made her feel bad. She felt the feeling of guilt build up inside her chest. Her arms loosened, lowering herself off of her toes. "…Sorry…" She whispered, barely audible.

group

Pulling her closer by the waist, he leaned lower to her lips. "Don't be, trust me." He whispered back, barely pressing his lips against hers. "Because you just happened to be that girl." He hummed with a slight smirk, knowing he probably shouldn't have said it like that. But he wanted her to know. So with that off his chest, he pressed his lips back to hers.

Janet blinked, a little confused, but relieved. She didn't kiss him back, still processing exactly what he said. Pulling back enough to talk, she looked back up at him. "Really? Oh you're so mean!" She said in a joking manner, "Just please don't do that again, you have no idea how bad I felt." She said, a smile creeping onto her lips.

group

Giving her a soft smile, he pecked the tip of her nose. "I'm sorry, don't be mad." He chuckled, nuzzling her nose. "I won't do it again, promise with all of my heart." Axel hummed still holding her close. "I didn't want you to feel worse when you realized on your own, so I thought I would tell you now."

Janet's smile grew wider, touching her forehead against his. "It's okay, I'm glad you told me now." She said, tightening her arms around him and burying her face in his neck. "Thank you." She said softly, muffled by his skin.

group

Chuckling lowly, he scooped her up so she could stay close. "What happened to your shoes?" He asked softly, pressing a gentle kiss to the side of her face. His back was arched backwards, as he held her close to him.

She lifted her head a little, looking around. She totally forgot about them. Just forgetting things left and right apparently. "Oh… um I think they're probably close. I must have dropped them a little bit ago or something." She giggled softly and rested her head back on his chest.

group

Glancing down on the ground, he spotted them sitting there besides him. "Hold on, I'll grab them." He hummed, setting her down on her feet. Pulling his leather jacket from around his shoulders, he set it on hers before bending down to pick up her shoes. Picking them up, he tucked them under his chin to scoop her up once more. "Mind if I carry you the rest of the way?"

Janet looked down at her shoes, watching as Axel picked them up. She held onto his jacket, tightening it around her. She took a deep breath, of course, it smelled like him and she loved it. "I don't mind at all. Do you want me to hold my shoes so it's easier for you?" She asked, leaning her head on his chest and wrapping one of her arms around his neck.

group

Scooping her up, he made sure he was settled. "If you wouldn't mind, that would be lovely." He smiled, lifting his chin to drop the shoes in her lap. Once settled, he began to slowly stride down the side walk. "What is your opinion on all of this? I don't want to push you."

With her empty free hand, she held her shoes to her lap to make sure they wouldn't fall. At first she held onto him a little tighter but loosened her grip once she got the feel for it. "What do you mean exactly? Do you mean me in your arms being carried to your house? Or do you mean just a few minutes ago? Or do you mean it all? Because I… I enjoy it all I really like being with you and I want to continue it for a while."

group

"Really?" He asked rather hopefully, bringing her a little closer to his chest. "You really mean that? Because I want to stay with you for a while as well." He whispered, running his thumb over her arm carefully. His heart beat faster, and his hopes rose to rather high heights.

She tilted her head to look up at him, smiling. "I most certainly do mean it. I've enjoyed today so much with you and I don't really want to imagine the future without you… that's kinda cheesy and really forward considering we met only a few hours ago, but I mean it."

group

"I never believed in love at first sight," He admitted, giving her a gentle smile as he thought his words through. "But then you came along, an angel of beauty. You came and stole my heart. Clearly I was wrong about the whole, 'Love at first sight'."

Janet's cheeks grew a rosy shade of pink, a shy smile on her lips. Oh she definitely loved him, no argue about that. She leaned her head up to Axel and planted a soft kiss on his lips, smiling while doing so. "I'm really glad I came along then."

group

"I am too." He chuckled, looking up to see his neighborhood. Bright and shiny, with cookie cutter houses. Each was a different vibrant shade, pink, yellow, blue, or purple. Though one house was a soft green. That was his. So walking down the side walk, he came up to it with a bright look about him.

Janet smiled, admiring the colors of the houses. Her neighborhood had been very bland and monochrome when she was younger. She watched as they got closer to a green-colored house, she assumed it must be Axel's.
