Jesse ignored Taran’s response, facing Tori still. “You’ve got the Clue master on your team, we’ll totally make it out of here,” he said, a tiny bit of sincerity behind the last words. He glanced at the tea suspiciously. “I can’t tell if this is some kind of trick or just a mind game to make us think it’s some kind of trick.”
"Tea. I haven't had some in a long time." Taran picked up a cup, and held it, but didn't take a sip. She was suspiscious. Maybe she would drink it later. Her metal arm clicked and whirred quietly, and she shook it, so that it quieted again.

And true to the door boy’s words, it did taste, smell, and feel like Earl Gray tea. It didn’t seem like the tea was drugged neither. Yet, the cup’s design was little off. Namely, the fact that as soon as the liquid was consumed, the white cup changed to a yellow one. Perhaps it was only went the liquid decreased did the cups return to their normal colors. Amyr’s cup was yellow.

Tori pouted. "I'm probably better at Clue than you are." Her gaze shifted to the tea. "I guess I'll take my chances." She reached for the cup and sipped the tea.

When Tori sipped the tea, the cup, as some would have expected, changed color too. This time, to something like a scarlet red.
“Why does everyone think they’re better at Clue than me? If we survive this, we all need to play a game of Clue so you can see my mad skills,” Jesse joked, glancing at the tea again. He was the only one who hadn’t touched his cup. He shrugged. “Well, if I die, I die, I guess.” He took a sip of tea as well.
"That's not right." Taran watched the other cups, then shrugged. "The hell with it. I'm trying some anyway." She took a sip. It was okay, not enough sugar, in her opinion.

Tori looked over at Amyr's cup, and back at hers. "Mine's red, not yellow. That seems bad."
“Maybe it means you’re Miss Scarlet and he’s that yellow dude…Colonel Mustard, I think,” Jesse said, his mind whirring with possibilities as to why their cups were different colors. It had to signify something.
"Good grief. You really are addicted to that game, aren't you?" Taran asked, rolling her eyes at Jesse. "Or maybe they're just random colors that don't mean anything."

"I like Miss Scarlet anyways." Tori kept glancing uneasily around the room, waiting for something unexpected to happen. What might happen? Tori didn't know.

Jesse’s cup turned an emerald green while Taran’s turned a dark blue. That seems to be the only thing the door boy wanted as when everyone took a sip, he bowed.
”Please wait patiently for the chime of the grandfather clock” he mentioned, walking out of the room and… locking it from the outside. There was no way to unlock it from the inside so the four were unquestionably trapped… or were they though?
There were some things in the room they were that were quite worth looking at, whether it be the painting of sunflowers on the wall, the torn wallpaper in the corner, the Knight statue by the door, the broken vase which had no excess soul, the pile of piano sheets, the pile of old newspapers, the old and dusted violin and its bow, the pair of swords which were colored black and white, the burnt piece of cloth beside the swords, and finally, the golden dragon heads on either side of the room; one above the door and one above the monitor. Some were truly interesting to look at… or even touch.
“Or maybe they’re some kind of bizarre code that you’re electing to ignore so you can make fun of me,” Jesse responded, still not entirely serious in his response. Meanwhile, he ran through several different reasons for the color in his brain. He was definitely what one would call an overthinker.
He studied his now green cup thoughtfully, glancing up when the door boy left. Well that was strange.

"Hey, you're Mr. Green." Tori looked around the room, more at ease. Hopefully, nothing would happen until the grandfather clock chimed. "Check out those dragons."
Jesse grinned. “Cool. Those dragons look awesome. I wonder if they’re just for decoration.” He stood up. “That guy never said we couldn’t stand up and walk around, so…”
Amyr's eyes ran over all of the items, the swords, the wallpaper. Everything. He found them all to be interesting in their own right. He finally found himself looking over at the piano sheets. Smiling softly. "Just lovely," he whispered. Though he couldn't see them well from where he sat, he could recognize some of the songs.
"Oh, probably," Taran agreed. "I choose to ignore anyone who has dumb ideas." She moved to pick up a sword, running her hand along the blade.
Jesse ran his hand along one of the dragons, curious. His gaze flitted about the room as he inspected the decorations, carefully looking around. He smiled at Tori encouragingly.

Tori stood up and walked over to the dragon above the door. She was too short to reach it, but she could look. She circled the room, her brown eyes taking in as much as she could.

The dragon heads looked like they were some sort of mechanism that could open. However, the one by the monitor looked like it needed some sort of code. There was something shiny inside yet if the dragon head doesn’t open, there was no way of getting it. The code consisted of two alphabets together as if they were an initial of someone and another letter which only consisted of A to G with the words Minor and Major following it.

The piano piece on top of the pile was of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No.2, The Resurrection. The piece was known for its heart shattering sounds and eerie tones. Perfect for a fancy yet creepy mansion indeed.
The sword, though cleaned, seemed relatively old. There were even initials on them. “A.F.” was on the blade part of both swords. They looked used and, to some degree, even looked magical.

The dragon above the door also had a code for it. It, however, required only three things; two letters with dots, signifying an initial and a color palette. However, it seemed like this one was a bit harder to reach as it was on the dragon’s cheek, extremely hard to reach.
“So are we just, like, looking around until the clock chimes and they decide to let us out?” Jesse asked no one in particular, still studying the room. He ran a hand through his hair, a nervous habit that he had.
He wandered back to the dragon, noticing the alphabet stuff. “Or do we find our own way out?”
(Noooo, I totally don't get the reference.)
Taran grinned, picking up a sword and swinging it through the air. "These are awesome. I wonder if we can keep them?" She shook her head. "Nevermind. I'm keeping it. I want it." It slashed neatly through the air. "I wonder what AF stands for," she wondered outloud.

"I guess." Tori walked back to the dragon, which had caught her attention again. "It looks like this dragon's mechanical."
“I think it’s some sort of code,” Jesse responded. He went over to the dragon above the door. “They both are. Maybe a way out? It looks like initials or something.”

"Maybe this is a puzzle!" Tori studied the dragon again. "The letters A through G are musical notes, and Major and Minor have something or other to do with music as well. Thanks, fourth grade music class."

Tori looked back at the dragon, then at the swords. "There's a spot for initials here. Maybe the initials are the A.F. on the sword."
“This dragon has a…color palette? That’s interesting,” Jesse mused. “And more letters. Hmm. We should try those! Is there anything else in here that has letters on it? Or a color that seems significant?”
