"I'm too busy." Kesari said, wiggling in his arms to try and get him to let her down. "Aquarius, I can walk. I've done more on less energy before."

@PrettyLittlePyro

“No,” he said, distracted. “I’m not putting you down.” He tightened his grip in her.

"Aquarius." She complained, ceasing her movement. It admittedly felt nice to be carried, but she was supposed to be focusing about getting them out.

@PrettyLittlePyro

“That’s my name,” he said, smirking, not looking at her. He moved quickly down the hall.

She groaned, but rested her head against his chest. Might as well take the opportunity to re-charge, I guess. "Yu don't have to carry me." She said quietly.

@PrettyLittlePyro

“Yes, I do,” he said, smiling slightly.

"And why's that?" She asked, looking up at him.

@PrettyLittlePyro

“Well,” he said, shifting her up slightly, “I am a siren. We need physical touch.”

"Physical touch for what? I'd like to know what I'm being used for."

@PrettyLittlePyro

He smirked, looking at her for the first time. “I was joking. Don’t worry. I just want to carry you.”

She rolled her eyes, settling in his arms. "Why? I was under the impression that you weren't too happy about being shackled to me by the universe."

@PrettyLittlePyro

“The universe has had it against me pretty much since I was born.”

"So I was right." Kesari ignored the pain in her heart, turning her eyes down to watch the walls pass. "Why carry me, then? I could very easily just walk."

@PrettyLittlePyro

“Because you’re…” he stopped, listening. “Do you hear that?”

She used the opportunity to slip out of his arms, swaying on her feet a bit. "Maybe. What is that?"

@PrettyLittlePyro

“Nothing,” he said. “No sound. A few minutes ago there was the sound of running water. Now, nothing.0

"Running water?" She frowned, looking around. "Wait, where did you hear it coming from?"

@PrettyLittlePyro

“Everywhere.”

"That's not helpful." She grumbled, using the wall for support whenever she stumbled as she continued down the hall. "Why is there water? What's it doing? Where's it coming from? Why the hell are we even down here?"

@PrettyLittlePyro

“How am I supposed to know?” He places a hand on the wall.

She blinked, looking back at him. "Huh? Oh-uh, sorry. I-must've been muttering out loud. Any input is appreciated though."

@PrettyLittlePyro

“Seems as though it was almost as if it was from the walls,” he said.

"The main reason there would be water in the wall, is if we're in some sort of underground facility." She murmured, brows furrowing.

@PrettyLittlePyro

“Or ruins…”

"Ruins. Ruins are easy. I can do ruins." She muttered, managing to walk without using the wall.

@PrettyLittlePyro

Aquarius closed his eyes, fighting back sudden exhaustion.

Kesari looked over at him, frowning as she stepped closer and lifted his arm to drape it over her shoulders. "Here. You alright?"

@PrettyLittlePyro

“Fine,” he said. “Just tired.” He tried hard not to glance at her weirdly. Since when did she care about him?

"I'll get you out of here, and then you can sleep." She promised, her face hardening with determination.

@PrettyLittlePyro

“Fine by me,” he said, smothering a yawn. He stood up, brushing his hair from his face.
