“This game is so boring I half wish someone would fight,” Melissa complained laughing slightly.

"Yeah, really." Ciel nodded in agreement, glancing over at Melissa again. "Football is not as interesting as everyone seems to think it is."
Melissa laughed and nodded. "Yeah, it definitely isn't. Want to sneak off or just wait it out?" she asked.
"Ugh, if I wait, I think I'll die of boredom," Ceil answered, trying to keep her tone light and her mind off of any possible things that might happen if they snuck off. "If you don't mind missing this extremely engaging game, we should find something more interesting."
Melissa nodded. "I know somewhere we can go," She said standing up. "Can't have you dying on me." she winked laughing again.
"Perfect," Ciel grinned, her heart jumping when Melissa winked at her. Oh, why did she have to be so cute? Ciel bit her lip slightly as she stood. She hoped that, against all odds, that something would happen. It probably wouldn't, but a little hope couldn't hurt.
Melissa just smiled watching her. She stood there for a little too long before shaking her head slightly and walking down the bleachers.
Ciel's smile persisted as she followed Melissa down the bleachers. She wondered where Melissa would take her. Hopefully, it would be more interesting than watching football, though that bar was very, very low.
Melissa walked away from the field to a wooden area with a path. Once out of view of the game she glanced at Ciel. She took her hand and lead her to a side path that was a little overgrown.
Ciel followed Melissa out of the game, her heart jumping again when Melissa took her hand. "This is kind of pretty," She said softly, glancing around. Her eyes ended up on Melissa, like they almost always did.
Melissa smiled and nodded. "Wait until you see what's ahead," she said. The trees sort of made an arch above them.
"Ooh, I can't wait, then." Ciel glanced above them, loving the fairytale vibe she was getting from the place. Who knew something so beautiful existed on or near the school grounds?
Melissa smiled. After a little more walking there was a clearing. There was a very small stream next to it and flowers all around.
"Oh my–" Ciel gasped, looking around in wonder. "Melissa, this is beautiful!" She took in the stream and the flowers, eyes large and shining. "What is this place?" Ciel turned back to Melissa, a huge smile on her face.
Melissa shrugged still smiling. "Not sure just found it one day when wandering around," she said. "YOu bring Lili here sometimes. No one else really knows about it." She didn't mention the fact that she and Lili stayed there a few nights before she got her old apartment.
"Well, you're very lucky to have found it. It's amazing." Ciel couldn't help but continue to say what she thought about the place. It really was… well, magical. "And much more interesting than watching a bunch of people run around and tackle each other," she continued with a laugh.
Melissa laughed with her. She sat down. The trees covered them from any sunlight.
Ciel sat down next to Melissa, her eyes still full of wonder. Although the reason for that look was only partly because she was in such a wonderful place. The other reason was the beautiful person beside her.
Melissa smiled watching the wonder on her face. “It doesn’t take much to amaze you,” she joked bumping their shoulders slightly.
"Just something beautiful," Ciel replied, looking directly at Melissa with a soft smile on her lips. She didn't exactly mean for that sentence to suggest that she thought Melissa was beautiful, but it worked either way.
Melissa blushed slightly and looked away. “Yeah Umm so how are you feeling about the party?” She asked trying to change the subject.
"Same as I was before." Ciel shrugged, turning her attention to the flowers in front of her. "It's not like I can't wait for it, but I'm not dreading it either."
“Yeah same. Do you drink? It’s okay if you don’t just warning that I probably will a little,” she said folding her legs.
"Not really, but I'm not against it. If it's the only thing to drink, I'll probably have a little," Ciel answered. Her parents weren't exactly for her drinking, but they had also made her try schnapps when they'd gone to Germany as a family, so it was probably fine.
Melissa nodded. “There’s usually soda cans. Don’t drink from the liters they are usually spiked,” she said shrugging. “It a going to be fun with you there. Plus we can sneak to my room whenever.”
"Cool." Ciel nodded, determined to remember what Melissa had said about the liters. "Yeah, it is," She said. "Oh, having a place to escape if things get too… whatever. That's good!" Ciel let out a breath.
“Yeah,” Melissa said. She turned to face he again before looking at the flowers.
Ceil glanced over at Melissa when she faced her, then followed her gaze to the flowers. "These are so pretty," She said softly, reaching out and gently running her fingers over the petals of one.
Melissa smiled and nodded. “Yeah they are,” she said looking back at Ciel.
Ciel's fingers found an especially beautiful one. She had no idea what it was, but it was small and colored a soft purple. "Here," Ciel said, carefully picking it and holding it out to Melissa.
