Melissa nodded. She found the movie and put it on. Then she rested her head on Ciel’s shoulder.

Ciel smiled at Melissa's head on her shoulder. She promised herself that she wouldn't move at all unless Melissa moved first. There was no way she was messing this moment up.
Melissa stayed still and kept her eyes on the tv. Her eyes closing slightly she she lifted the blanket over herself.
Ciel smiled wide at what was happening in the movie and glanced quickly at Melissa. She was so lucky that Melissa was here, watching one of her favorite movies with her.
Melissa’s eyes where closed most of the time but she was still listening. She was exhausted and pretty buzzed. She moved her head and looked up at Ciel after a while.
Ciel was mostly absorbed in the movie– watching it was probably a bad idea since she was torn between watching the hilarity on screen and the absolutely wonderful person sitting next to her. She turned slightly to look at Melissa, only to see her staring right back at her. Ciel gave her a soft smile and kept looking at her.
Melissa didn't smile back. She bit her lip slightly glancing at Ciel's own.
Ciel's eyebrows narrowed in confusion when Melissa didn't smile back, then noticed where she was looking. Oh, boy. Her eyes flicked to Melissa's lips for a second, then went back up to her eyes. Her heart had started beating quicker and she had no idea what to think. She knew what she wanted to do, but should she?
Melissa noticed Ciel's eyes shift. She lifted her head a little more and connected their lips.
Ciel's heart almost burst right out of her chest. Melissa! Was! Kissing! Her! And that's all she could think. Her hand lifted and rested gently on Melissa's cheek.
Melissa smiled slightly into the kiss. Her hand going up and over Ciel’s.
Ciel's eyes fluttered shut and she leaned into the kiss slightly. In the back of her mind, she was really thankful Melissa hadn't immediately pulled away.
Melissa pulled away from the kiss after a long moment.
Ciel let her eyes open slowly and she stared at Melissa with a sort of amazed look on her face. She had no idea what to say, so she didn't say anything.
Melissa's cheeks turned red and she shook. "I umm I shouldn't of done that."
"What?" Ciel blinked, slightly confused. Then she remembered Brandon's existence. "Oh, I mean… I'm fine with it. It was nice, I mean." She stumbled over her words, trying to convince Melissa that it was okay.
Melissa looked down and shook her head slightly. "No sorry I-" She cut herself off slightly. Thinking hard.
Ciel stared at Melissa, her eyes wide. What in the world was going to happen now? She had no idea what she wanted to happen now. What would Melissa do? It looked like she was thinking about something.
"I- Ciel I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry," She said shaking her head and standing up. "I-I really like you but-"
"Okay, yeah. You're fine," Ciel said softly. "I understand. You have all that…" She waved her hands around them vaguely, not sure herself what she was trying to say.
Melissa nodded keeping her head down. "Yeah," She whispered.
"Um…" Ciel blinked and looked up. The TV was on and the movie was still playing, which was just so weird she almost laughed. She didn't though. It wasn't funny enough for that.
Melissa didn't say anything for a moment. "Do you- do you want to finish the movie?" She asked with a weak smile.
"Yeah, sure." Ciel nodded, returning Melissa's smile. The only thing she had going for her was the epic ending to the movie. At least she had that to look forward to and focus on.
Melissa nodded and moved over slightly. Leaving more space between her and Ciel. She know she messed up. She tried to focus on the movie. They missed a little bit of it.
All of Ciel's attention was focused on the movie. She didn't let any thoughts that didn't have to do with what was happening on the screen into her mind. When something funny happened, she laughed, and the laugh wasn't even all that faked.
Melissa watched silently. she kept her head straight and tried her best not to even glance at Ciel.
Ciel's eyes felt tired after focusing so hard on the screen, but it was the only way for her to not look over at Melissa. She didn't know what emotion she would feel if she gave in, but she was sure it wasn't going to help the present situation.
they sat their awkwardly until the movie ended. She didn't say anything but she did sit up more.
Ciel finally glanced over at Melissa– just for a second, though. "Um… what now?" She asked, her voice soft. The question was about what they should do after the movie, but it was also about what they should do after what had happened during the movie.
