"Dang it…"

She hummed softly, letting her eyes rest for another minute.

He sighed. "and I bet you need to go to work huh?"

Her eyes flew open. Work had completely slipped her mind.

He laughed. "Might wanna get going," he said letting her go/

Bridget rolled off of the couch and stood up. She rushed around, gathering everything she'd brought with her yesterday.

He sits up. "Hold on before you go." He walks over to her and kisses her softly. "Have a nice day."

She blushed softly. "Thank you. Call me right away if you need anything, okay?"

"I will."

"Bye," she whispered, hurrying out the door.

He waved as he watches her leave.

Bridget knocked on the door of Joseph's house at around 7:30PM.

Joseph slowly and it when he saw Bridget he smiled.

"Hi, are you feeling alright?" she asked gently, stepping inside. Her hair was pulled tight to her head in a strict bun and her glasses were pressed tight to the bridge of her nose.

"Yeah. And you?"

She nodded absently. "Yes," her lips replied without taking time to truly consider her answer.

He hugged her gently. "Good."

She was startled for the briefest moment, still in work mode. She quickly relaxed and hugged him back.

He smiled brightly.

"You didn't miss me too much, did you?" she teased.

"No," he said pouting. "Why would you say that…?"

She blushed. "Wondering…"

He kissed her gently. "I did miss you though."

She blushed even more. "I missed you too. I was worried that you had another coughing attack."

"Not yet thankfully."

She kissed him softly. "Are you hungry? You probably ate already."
