She shifted and deepened the kiss with the movement.

He flipped them around so he was on top of her..

"Mmm…" she moaned softly.

He kissed her a little rougher.

She imitated his actions, her free arm snaking under his arm and her fingers weaving through his hair.

He moaned a little.

Bridget felt her stomach flip. She worked her fingers more intensely.

Joseph pulled her closer to him with one arm.

She let her eyes close, wondering why they hadn't earlier.

He mumbled "Love you" into the kiss.

"Love you," she replied, and she realized she actually meant it. Her shoulder blades dug into the couch.

He felt happy. His heart racing. He placed her head in his hand for stability.

She entwined their fingers and gave his palm a reassuring squeeze.

He squeezed back. He pulled away slightly and placed his forehead on her's.

"Is something wrong?" she asked, sounding noticeably breathless.

"N-No…Not at all." He said smiling. "I'm just being cautious…"

"Of…?" She wanted to hear his answer.

"My illness." he sat up an coughed a little. "S-Sorry…"

"Oh, it's alright. I'm sorry…" She blushed lightly. Her hair had come slightly undone during the kiss.

"I'm always ruining everything…"

"No you don't," she retorted quickly. "Don't say that."

"…" He looked at her.

"What?" she asked, taking his face gently in her hands. "You don't ruin everything."

"Don't thank me for the truth," she said softly.

"…I don't feel like it is…"

"Does this help?" she asked, bringing him in for a light kiss.

He kissed back hesitantly.

She sensed his tentativeness and backed off a little, only going as far as he wanted.

He started crying a little.
