Mira flinched when Bridget approached.
"All bark, no bite, huh? What do you want, Mira?" Bridget demanded.
"I want back into my company!" Mira snarled.
"It was never yours, to begin with," Bridget stated, narrowing her eyes.

My company?
Bridget turned and walked away, an unreadable expression painted across her face. "Do you want your coffee?" she asked Joseph quietly.
He sighs. "Yeah. We'll get it to go, ok?"
"I'm sorry about all of this," she whispered.
He whispered back. "Don't be."
Mira walked back over to Bridget, a glare on her face.
"Give me back my company, Bridget."
"It was never your company!" Bridget retorted sharply, standing defensively in front of Joseph. "And why are you complaining?! You're the one that left!"
Mira's features tightened.
"You'll pay for this, Bridget," Mira sneered.
"Oh, I hope I will," she spat back. "Now leave."
"It's a free country."
"Not when you bail out of a five million dollar deal!" Bridget snapped tersely.
Joseph was confused
Mira made an irritated noise, turned on her heel, and left.
Bridget sighed, all tension leaving her body. After a moment, she looked back at Joseph. "Coffee?"
He was spaced out.
"Joseph!"
He shook his head. "S-Sorry…"
"Coffee?" she repeated, softer.
"Y-Yeah." He looked at her a little embarrassed.
"Dork." Blake said almost as if to say, 'Hey I'm still here ya know.'
Bridget remembered Blake was there. "Did you want anything?" she asked him. "It's on me."
Blake shook his head. "I have coffee already."
"Alright." She looked back at Joseph. "Are you okay? Do you want coffee?"
"I'm not sure…"
"What question was that answering?"
"I have no clue anymore."
"Do you want to go home?" she asked worriedly.
Joseph sighs. "Yeah…"
Bridget laced their fingers together and smiled hopefully. "I'll explain everything, I promise."
"If you say so."
She winced a little. "Are you mad at me?"
"Nope" He grabs he hand.
"Are you sure?"
He lifts her chin up. "Positive."
She smiled tiredly. "Do you still want coffee?"
"No. let's just go back to my house."
