Blind date rp (one one one)(closed)

"Did all of that really happen?" she asked quietly.

He nods "most of it…"

"I'm sorry," she said, pulling away from the hug.

He gets up and sets down his papers on the desk. He looked at the scribbled mess and rubs a hand through his hair.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

"I doubt I'll finish this. plus it's not that great"

"Can I read it?" she asked. Her phone buzzed, but she ignored it.

"I guess. Right now it's not anything special"

"That's what you think," she said. "Let me read it and see what I think."

He hands her the messy papers full of edits and scribbled out bits

Bridget deciphered his handwriting as she read. "This is amazing!" she said when she finished it.

".." He didn't know what to say at this point

"I mean, it needs an ending, but what you have so far is great," Bridget said, handing him the transcript.

"But I don't have much time left…"

"Do you want me to help you?"

"but your work"

Bridget shrugged. "I'll just work later." Another all-nighter for you…

He was a little worried "You sure…?"

Bridget nodded like it was no big deal. "It's fine!" she insisted.

'' If you say so…''

"I promise, it's fine. So… what's the plan?" she asked, rolling up her sleeves and pushing her glasses up her nose.

"The rising action…'' He stated what he was gonna do

Bridget was constantly giving suggestions. "I have connections to editors, designers, and publishers, if you need any," she mentioned at one point.

"I'm good for now"

“Just putting that out there,” she justified with a small smile.

He smiles back," Thanks."

Bridget pushed her glasses up her nose again. A yawn stretched from her mouth, but she tried to cover it up.

he laughs "You seem sleepy"

Bridget waved her hand at him. “I’m fine.”

"It's late. You need sleep…Maybe you can sleep here"
