I shut my eyes, trying to piece together an acceptance reply, “I—I can’t speak for Colton. But… I didn’t want to scare you two. And even thinking about it makes me want to throw up…. it’s selfish and irresponsible, I know.”
Blood Oath (O/O CLOSED)
“You both shouldn’t even be involved,” Colton said slowly, staring right at me. “Associating with our problems could potentially endanger your lives. There was no way I could have allowed that.”
Andreas set his jaw and shook his head firmly. “With all due respect, Prince Colton, Elle is our best friend. Her problems are our problems. I, for one, am not stepping back from this because of the danger.”
“Neither am I,” I agreed with Andreas. “I’m not falling back.”
The Prince sighed, resting his forehead against Elle’s in exasperation.
“And if I order you to stay away?” He bore his eyes into ours again. “Would you disobey?”
“Obviously,” I replied, promptly sniffing out the spark of outage that had been lit within we. “She’s our best friend. You can’t, neither do you have the right to, keep us away.”
“Well then, I suppose there’s nothing I can do to stop you,” the Prince murmured. “I’m grateful for what you’re doing for Elle. Thank you for not turning her away when you discovered her identity. Thank you for accepting her and loving her for who she is.”
“I could say the same to you, Your Highness,” I murmured in response, indicating to the gentle way he seemed to hold my best friend.
The prince looked down at our best friend before a small smile bloomed on his features. “She’s my lifeline. I was hers even before I took my first breath. Without her, I’ve realized I am nothing.”
I watched as Elle stirred, as if coaxed slowly back to life by each word her lover spoke. “Without me,” she whispered, “You are Colton Miller. And that is the best thing you could possibly be, regardless of my presence.”
“Your presence brings out the best of me,” Colton insisted, though his eyes were warm and his expression was softened. “Colton Miller without his Elle is absolutely nothing. That’s a dark life to live.”
While the couple had their moment, I signaled to Kaden. Time for us to go?
Definitely, I answered back. No way was I staying when they could barely stop flirting.
(Kaden 😂)
I gave my boyfriend a subtle nod and placed one hand on the doorknob. “We should probably get going…. be careful, you two.” After a moment, I winked at Elle, before slipping from the room. “Use a condom.”
Colton’s POV:
I whipped my head towards Andreas, eyes wide before I let a smirk make its way towards me.
“Thank you for the reminder, Andreas,” I said, tightening my grip on Elle’s hips. “We’ll be sure to follow.”
Elle’s POV
The door swung shut, leaving me a stammering, blushing mess, leaning into Colton in some sort of attempt to gain some refuge from the relentless teasing,
I smirked as I turned my attention back towards Elle, pressing my forehead against hers. “Now, where were we when we were so rudely interrupted?”
I bit down on my lower lip. As much as I enjoyed this, shouldn’t we be discussing the catastrophic news that had just been shared with us? Then again, there wasn’t much to discuss….
After a moment, I slid my hands over his shoulders. “Why don’t you show me?~”
(Maybe you should lock your door this time. 😂)
I grinned wickedly before I dipped my head and captured her lips in a kiss, pushing all that I felt for her in that exchange.
My hands gathered fistfuls of Colton’s shirt, pulling him against me as he claimed my lips again and again. “I… love… you….” I whispered between kisses, letting my eyes drift shut.
“I love you, too,” I all but growled, devouring her mouth, wanting to hear sounds only I could get out of her. “Mine.”
I went weak from the force of his passionate kisses, but somehow managed to piece together a teasing response. Without stopping to consider to consequences, I pulled away until our lips were a hair’s breadth apart. My hand slipped up his side to cup his cheek. “Mine.”
I narrowed my eyes dangerous, hand reaching out to hold the one on my cheek. I gave it a squeeze, staring right into her eyes.
“Yours,” I agreed without hesitation, brushing our lips together. “Heart, body and soul. All yours.”
My breath hitched as pink bloomed across my cheeks. Instead of trying to stammer our a response, I crushed my mouth against his, trying to see if I could make him weaken in my arms… though, we both knew who would win in the end.
I kissed her back with just as fervor, turning us around so I could push her against the wall. I bit down on her lip, trying had not to break it to trail kisses down her throat.
I went weak once more, barely able to keep myself standing and not in a crumpled heap on the floor at this point. “C-Colton—“ I stammered, pushing my fingers into his hair and winding his thick curls around them.
I groaned into her mouth, pushing against her a little more. Holding hr tightly so she wouldn’t fall, I pulled apart from her mouth to trail gentle kisses down her jaw, right below her ear. I wasn’t planning on going far. I just wanted to taste her skin and that was it.
I shivered against him, fingers tightening in his hair. “God, Colton,” I breathed, drawing him closer still.
“I love you,” I murmured against her skin, letting out a groan when her hold on my hair tightened. “So much.”
“My three favourite words,” I murmured, voice hoarse.
