(Wouldn't it be horrible if Simon accidently ends up taking on the role of abuser in the relationship until he wakes up one night to crying, thinking it's the baby, but it's Astral sobbing curled up in the bathroom and when Simon asks about it it's just a stream of sorrys and saying Astral won't bother him anymore)
He blushed deeply, a goofy smile on his face. He looked away, as if that would somehow hide it.

Astral laughed lightly, one hand running through Simon's hair. He was so cute like this…
"Mm…" He hugged Simon, chuckling some.
"Cutey," he mumbled softly.
Simon’s blush deepened at hearing Astral’s mumbles. But, he was totally imagining it, right? Right. Yep. That was the only logical explanation.

Astral hummed again, resting his head on Simon's for a moment. He took one of Simon's hands in his own, smiling.
"So, what shall we have for breakfast?"
(S-softness)
“U-um I don’t know whatever you want I guess.” He blurted out quickly. He was just so flustered. And then he remembered ‘Dammit….he has a boyfriend.’ He couldn’t help but feel a sinking sense of disappointment.

Astral blinked some at his quickly Simon's words came out, laughing lightly.
"Alright, then!" Astral scooped Simon up into his arms, moving off the bed to head out to the kitchen. He felt the change in the human's mood, pulling him a bit closer.
"Someone wrong..?"
He squeaked a bit in surprise when Astral scooped him up, clinging tightly to the other man. He looked up when Astral spoke up. “Hm? Oh no just…thinking.”

"Mm…" Astral nodded some as he walked into the kitchen. He had Simon bridal style in his arms, shifting him to one arm as he looked for something for them to eat.
"How do donuts sound?"
“Sounds good.” He responded, a bit spaced out. Why was he disappointed that Astral had a boyfriend? That was stupid. Like really stupid. It wasn’t like he wanted to date Astral, right? Right…?

Astral looked down at Simon a moment longer, holding the man to his chest. He reached into one cabinet, pulling out a box of donuts and carrying a Simon with him back to the table to eat.
"Are you sure everything's okay..?"
“Mhm. No need to worry about me.” He said, offering a faint smile up at him. Astral probably wasn’t even interested in him, he was probably just being nice.

Astral was concerned still, but let it slide with a nod. He sat down, Simon resting in his lap. He pulled the donuts over, opening the lid.
"Which one you want?" The god asked, humming as he looked over the options.
He smiled a bit, trying to put it out of his mind. “Mmm….that one!” He said, pointing at one of them in the box, leaning back on Astral’s chest.

Astral nodded, picking the donut up.
"Good choice!" He held it up for Simon, offering it to him. Of course, Simon could always just eat it while Astral was holding it…
The god asked his second arm loosely around Simon's waist, seeming completely rejected and content with how they were being that morning.
Simon giggled softly. “Thank you.” He said, taking it from Astral and convincing himself to just relax. He did like the way Astral was treating him, and he should appreciate it while it lasted instead of trying to overthink it.

"You're welcome!" Astral had gotten over, aka forced out of his mind, what he had been thinking about the night before. He grabbed a donut for himself, arm still around Simon.

He quietly began to eat, a content smile on his face. He occasionally shifted against Astral’s chest but that was really it. He’d gotten over his initial flusteredness and was now just sort of vibing.

Astral finished his donut soon enough, his face finding itself in Simon's hair like when he was asleep. He did smell really, really nice…

Simon blushed softly when Astral did so. He had to get to the bottom of this. ((sir you already are at the bottom of it you bottom)) “U-um Astral?” He spoke up. “What are you doing?”

Astral pulled back when he heard Simon's question, blushing some.
"A-ah, sorry," the god said softly. "Your hair's just… really soft. It's nice… but I'll stop." Astral looked away, embarrassed.
“N-no It’s okay!!” He quickly reassured, very quickly getting embarrassed. “I was just wondering why…..”

Astral looked back to Simon.
"Oh…" He smiled softly, his face going to the back of Simon's hair.
"Is this okay..?" The god asked, his voice muffled a bit.
“Mhm.” He said with a smile, careful not to move too much so he wouldn’t hurt Astral. He let out a content sigh.

Astral let out a content sigh in turn, both arms wrapping around Simon's waist now. The god smiled softly, hugging him close.
"Thank you…"
“What for?” He asked. With anyone else, he might’ve felt uncomfortable at the close contact, mostly because nothing good ever came after that. But he felt safe with Astral now.

"For letting me do this…" Astral knew it couldn't just be any small thing, with what he saw of Simon's past life on earth. He hugged Simon again, eyes opening with just a touch of sadness.
“You’re welcome….” he said softly, hugging the other in turn. “I trust you…” he said with a small smile, and Astral could probably tell he didn’t say that a lot.
