Rodya nods slightly.

Chrys smiles at Rodya. “I hope you like it.”

He nods, eating the food, "It's good."

Chrys smiles, looking relieved. “Good.” He takes a few bites, smiling still.

Rodya relaxes, drinking the wine quietly.

Chrys takes a drink and hums. “Hm…how have you been?”

"I. . . don't really know. . ." He laughs softly.

Chrys chuckles, “Hm…” he takes another sip. “I’m guessing you sent your horse back?”

He nods, "Yes, alas, I had to part with my wonderful girl. . ."

Chrys hums, “Aw…I’m going to miss her honestly. She was so beautiful.”

Rodya nods, drinking the rest of his glass and setting it down, finishing his food.

Chrys sighs contently, then finishes his glass. He looks to Rodya. “You seem…off…”

He bites his lip, looking at the table, "I do. . ?"

Chrys nods. “Mhm…”

“How so?”

Chrys hums, “You’re quiet…and you look…sad…almost.”

Rodya sighs, “My father has given up on me picking a bride. . .” He murmurs, “Instead. . . He picked one. He wants me to get married in two weeks time. I’m trying to find a way out of it. . .”

Chrys frowns, then snarls.

Rodya looks at him, “Look- it’s the way of the world. . . But. . .” He looks down, “I’ll never take a lover. . . And. . .” He looks at his empty glass, “I don’t know how to get out of it. . . I want a way out. . .”

Chrys thinks for a moment. “You…could live here…”

He blinks, “I. . . what?”

Chrys bites his lip, “Never mind-“

Rodya shakes his head, “I can’t run away, that wont work. . .” He sighs heavily, “Julia’s already married. . . I might be able to convince him to give everything to her and her husband. . .”

Chrys nods, quiet.

Rodya sighs, still looking at his empty glass, “I. . . I’m sorry. . .” He mumbles.

Chrys huffs a laugh, “Don’t apologize. It’s quite alright.”

Rodya shakes his head, “It’s not something you should worry about. . .”

Chrys shrugs.

Rodya sighsm resting his chin on his palm.

Chrys closes his eyes, silent.
